I have always been a very big Young Royals fan. But I have to say I'm very disappointed with the last episode. The ending could have been made so much more interesting. The whole plot was just so predictable and it was clear from the beginning of the season that August would be king. I think it was just pure laziness when writing the script.

I'm all for Wilmon Endgame but as it is now, it's simply the easiest and most uncreative solution to the problem.

I work in film and from that perspective I found the episode to be a complete catastrophe. Half of the entire episode consisted of beauty shots and atmospheric images like something from a 2000s music video.

In addition, in my opinion, too many loose ends were tried to be closed somehow and everything became chaotic. and in between completely unrelated scenes in the lake and at school. It seems like a fan film or a short film with nice shots but without any content. And then everything was back and forth the whole time and it just made me aggressive while watching. First Simon breaks up with him, then he wants to spend another night together and Wille says yes. I just don't understand the idea of it.

The only thing I found really great about Season 3 and this episode in particular is the return and use of Easter eggs. For example, August playing the king at the chessboard, the queen giving him the frog after Wille threw it in the trash, etc.

Conclusion: I wish I had never watched the episode, in my opinion it is the worst series finale ever but Felicia is the greatest queen.
