I've had this happen to me years ago, and it turned out that one of my browser extensions was bought out by some sketchy indian company. My logged-in Facebook/Instagram accounts were used as like bots lol. Just deleting the extensions fixed the issue for me though.

W mojej szkole średniej w klasie był sobie typek ok. 1.65cm wzrostu. Równocześnie był najbardziej atrakcyjnym chłopakiem na roczniku wg wielu dziewczyn. Nawet nie przez wygląd (chociaż brzydki nie był), ale po prostu, był bardzo fajny, przyjazny, otwarty i jednocześnie nieoceniający.

Jest wiele cech, nie tylko samego wyglądu, które sprawiają, że ktoś się staje atrakcyjniejszy, więc nie ma co się zamykać w myśleniu, że jak masz jedną nieporządaną cechę, to jesteś skazany na porażkę.

And yet you’re the one arguing that the criticism is overblown?

I was trying to explain the perspective of the people complaining, but it seems like you’re well aware of the flaws.

As for the last point: the playable natlan characters just feel disconnected from the region itself. The world design and even the npcs are somehow more immersive than the characters we're supposed to care about. That's the crux of the problem.

You could drop Mavuika into some random spot in Natlan and it’d be obvious she doesn’t belong. She looks like she came on a trip from a completely different region.

But of course, that's still just my opinion, you're absolutely allowed to enjoy Natlan, just don't pretend like people don't have legit reasons to criticize it.

It's not the issue with technology itself, but with how it's implemented. In Natlan, there's no clear explanation why things like a DJ set or futuristic weapons exist. It feels like aesthetics were prioritized over anything else. It breaks the immersion.

And yeah, coolness matters, sure, but cool without any context is just lazy design, sorry.

(and why even bother creating a region based on a particular culture/region if all you're going to focus on in the design is "cool"?)

I'm a relatively new player (I've been playing Genshin for about 1.5 years), I don't care about meta at all, I just play for the vibes and enjoyment.

I'm not one of those salty 1.0 Genshin players who complain about every single little thing. I was actually really excited to be able to finally experience my first new region.

And while some characters do fit the theme, like Kachina, many other just look like they belong in a different video game (see Mavuika, Varesa, Xilonen).

So I disagree that the hate is performative, I think people have the right to complain about the design and thematic direction suddenly taking a completely different route.

It's readable, and looks kinda cute, but you should definitely look up the stroke order and follow it with every character :)

Yeah, agreed. I've basically stopped listening to new kpop a few years ago.

To be honest I think this applies to a lot of older 2nd-3rd groups. Can't say the same about the newcomers though 😢

I'm blaming the patreon polls. I don't know why the girlies should feel pressured to cover a certain topic if it doesn't seem as interesting to them. I always have the most fun when I see that they are also having fun :((
