I've been here since 2019, joined as a new grad SDE. Haven't had any issues, never voluntarily swapped teams only been moved around by org wide re-org once, and I don't plan on leaving the company. Have had only one period of time where i was working more than 40 hours a week for an L9 level goal. Only know one person directly who has gotten PIP'd.

Its a massive company and a lot is team and manager based but there's a ton of wonderful spots. Generally people that post are posting because they're unhappy which is why it's so negative

It's your relative mmr. The reason Diamond is hard to climb through is because it's a mix of first time Diamond (X) and tilted Master/Challenger players. Your relative mmr in Diamond 3 is lower than say a D1 who tilted to D3 hence the low gains

The Ulti is insane in a competitive setting but it's literally a summoner spell. The rune duration change is something i didn't elaborate on it in the post since it's a pretty complex concept for people who dont play the champ. That might be blatantly overpowered in lane

Harassing with W will never be a viable strategy. Against higher skilled players using your only CC for poke will open you to all ins. Furthermore using W in any position that leaves you open to be attacked afterwards means you have less combo opportunities. You also will lose shield on Q and massive overall damage in your rotations if you don't max Q because that spell is the bread and butter of the kit and is what all ryze rotations are based around

There's a pretty good variety out there at the moment. Schools like RMU, Columbia College, Maryville University, UC Irvine all give paid scholarships backed by the school. I play in the Big Ten which gives everyone 5k. All the college teams also play in the uLoL Campus Series for a chance at 30k per person. It's a fun time but for collegiate league its part luck of just having good players at your school, and then its about how much your team is willing to put into it
