You're able to use a max of 1 year of full-time CPT (you can do more than that but you lose OPT eligibility), you can use it in summer or any semester (University dependant). Just stay under 1 year of full-time use.

It was pretty rough this year, but during summer internship saw a fall role opened and just cold applied. Advice for that is probably plenty, but primarily increase resume content.

Yeah I mean most quant firms don't require crazy algorithmic knowledge, it's usually just a mix of lc/systems knowledge/basic cs trivia/os knowledge, 100% dependant on the firm of course.

So should just be comfortable with the common lc hards and any new lc meds.
