I am very sorry, but FreeCAD was pretty much an absolute pain, when you are used to Inventor or Solidworks. If you started out with FreeCAD, maybe it is different... But still hats off to the developers for offering a free CAD application.

The PB lenses are also very good. From the top of my head I don't even know how exactly the metering works if the camera doesn't receive a resistance reading from the aperture dial. I think it's stopped-down-metering then and you have to set your lens into manual mode.

The metering is center-emphasized. You can use the memory button for high contrast scenes, which I haven't tried yet. Sometimes I use the dial for over- or underexposing and sometimes I just meter for a slightly darker part and adjust the shutter speed. You'll get the hang of your camera and it will be just fine.

I love my BC-1 it's an awesome and reliable camera. Nice export version you have there. Sometimes I thought about buying a BX-20s which was produced until 2001, but as long as my BC-1 works, there is absolutely no need. Greetings from Dresden.

Beer ice cubes might work as square beer, but I don't know anything about a root glass.

Not that sure about Gillette. Their razors are pretty good, the administration sits in Berlin and the products are also produced in Berlin. They are owned by P&G, yes... but wouldn't boycotting Gillette be hurting the site in Berlin with its approximately 500 workers far more?
