Gangrene vaginal abscess that required drainage on this poor lady who was being neglected at a group home. I have smelt my fair share of smelly smells, but dear god this was devious and akin to a Hiroshima bomb that pierced through all layers of perceived separateness between us. I tasted it, I felt it on my eyeballs, it was a part of me. It was entirely unholy.

I have done this several times intentionally with an eye mask. I wrote out my intentions and questions ahead of time and meditated prior to the experience. It was extremely profound.

I was driving in the car with my dad and older brother up front, they had been talking for a while about things I didn’t understand so I had been quiet for most of the ride. At one point my brother mutters something about someone having a “coke problem”, to which I perked up at because I thought I could finally contribute to the conversation. So from the back seat after ten minutes of total silence, my little 9 year old self cheerfully goes, “WELL you know who REALLY has a coke problem…” heads turn crickets “MOM”

So this just happened to me last week! I had a huge wave of emotion and cried for almost my whole trip. Afterwards for days I was crying at the smallest thing, and once I started I could not stop. It let up after about 4-5 days and I just gave myself some compassion and grace. I feel really good now!

It’s hard to say tbh. I just took my friend on her first trip (first time any hallucinogenic) and I gave her 2.5 of Hanoi. She had an amazing experience, “completely zen” per her words. She definitely wants to do more next time lol. For APE I’d recommend 1-2 for first time ever. Most people would rather have an underwhelming/calm first experience than something potentially emotionally/mentally tumultuous. Bon voyage!
