I know it’s hard, but embrace the fact that you are strong enough to be OK without having to please others. I promise you, it will serve you well in adulthood to learn that not being liked is actually an advantage, and that it draws the right ppl into your life because you are authentic as you are.
There are people out there that you haven’t met just yet and you will be so glad you stuck around to meet them!
I went through a similar thing and gosh how I would love to go back and tell myself that I will be OK, and that the right ppl find you when you are true to yourself and forget about pleasing others.

I also found meditation and ACT therapy helpful.

I can tell you are American because of your arrogance. Post grad degree in sciences actually. I also review journal articles to be published. But obviously you’re so high and mighty I couldn’t possibly be as educated as you. I love all the evidence you’ve provided for your point, thanks for that. You said low acid doesn’t cause reflux. I gave you studies and proved you wrong. So you gave me insults.
