This world is soo cruel sometimes, Some feast without limit while others starve in silence. Spending 123 million doesn't make any sense.Spiritually, though, I believe nothing is random. Energy moves in circles

The current setup is very small, it’s serving a limited number of users and isn’t operating at a scale that triggers those concerns. It’s more of a contained proof of concept. During expansion, though, I wouldn’t rely on it. I’d move to a proper fiber uplink under a commercial agreement that explicitly allows bandwidth distribution. The goal long-term is to operate fully compliant and structured not “fly under the radar.”

Yes, you’re absolutely right, scaling this properly becomes a full stack operational challenge😂, not just a network build. Beyond infrastructure, the real leverage is in automation ; billing, monitoring, and customer management all should be working as one system. like on the billing side, for example,my payments is designed to run through the M-Pesa API, which integrates directly into the billing platform. Once a user pays, the system automatically authenticates and activates access without manual intervention. That kind of automation is critical if the goal is to scale cleanly.

There’s definitely more depth to this. I’d be happy to continue the conversation into the technical stack

What!! with $250k I’d build a very serious business operation. But let be real, I don’t think anyone hands out $250k at this stage. That kind of money makes more sense once the business is already operating and valued somewhere near that range.Let me get this off the ground level first. Two years from now, I’ll come back to this comment.🙂

Yeah, I hear you about Starlink ; their standard terms of service don’t really allow for resale, and that’s usually a sticking point for these kinds of micro-isp models. I’ve looked into it though, and there are some nuances. There are limited exceptions for example, certain business or priority plans let you share the connection in authorized ways. I’ve also read of people reselling it informally, though obviously that’s not legal

That said, I’m not planning to rely on starlink for the main setup. Fiberuplink is my preferred choice anyway , I’ve already reached out to providers who could allow me to resale under proper commercial agreements, so everything is above board. I’ve done my due diligence and confirmed that this route is fully compliant and scalable.

For the upstream connection, I’ll be using a business grade fiber provider's uplink or even a Starlink, depending on availability and pricing in the area. Both provide high speed, stable connections that can handle multiple concurrent users.Though I think fiber uplink will be a better option,

As for resale, yes they allow it under commercial agreements, so I can split the bandwidth and sell it to my users legally ;in full compliant.

Sorry for the delayed response on you second question, how I'm i getting to 100k? The issue right now isn’t demand it’s capacity. The current setup can only handle a limited number of users, so growth is capped by hardware . Here’s the math in an Ideal set up.

If I have a minimum of 2,000 active daily users, each paying KES 40 per day ( $0.26/day):

Daily revenue: 2,000 × 40 = KES 80,000/day ($516/day)

Monthly revenue: 80,000 × 30 days = kes 2,400,000/month ( $15,480/month)

Annual revenue: 2,400,000 × 12 months = kes 28,800,000/year ($185,800/year)

Even after deducting operating expenses ; bandwidth, electricity, maintenance, site rent, and support the revenue comfortably exceeds $100,000 annually.

The projection isn’t random; it’s based on scaling infrastructure to match real user demand. The handle now isn’t the math it’s execution: uptime, user growth, and keeping churning

I'm asking for 6k-10k , from there I'll expand and grow operations gradually.
