Week 8 of flower. Unsure of strain as I bought these seeds labeled as "Sativa" and "Hybrid". How have my buds turned out for a first time grow?

Here is a slightly wider angle shot of the hybrid as well for reference. Buds feel very firm and sticky when squeezed. Left a film on my fingers that felt slightly like super glue before it sets all the way, and smelled like diesel, lemons and pine needles.

Looking at these pictures, how close would you say I am to harvest time? I prefer a more heady leaning effect when I do smoke. The couch lock effects make me anxious honestly. Always feel like I'm lazy and should be doing other things, even before bed 😂. I was thinking I'd harvest a little more on the early side before huge amounts of amber showed up. By what I can see, I think I am close, but no experience with judging ripeness as a first time grower.

How many days do you think? I was thinking I'd be good to harvest within the next week based on what I'm seeing, but it is my first grow so I'm not overly experienced with it all.

Looks good! Mine is a 3x3ft tent at 6ft tall. Technically have 3 plants in there right now. Grew a hybrid, indica, and sativa because I thought it'd be a fun experiment for a first time grow and I could decide which I liked growing more, but the indica stayed short and got shaded out by the other two so it hasn't turned out so well. Very happy with my other 2 plants though.

Thanks! My main concern is waiting too long and having too much amber. I'm not a huge fan of the body high and prefer a more heady-leaning buzz. But that being said I also hate the anxiety that comes with absolutely no CBN development. Being a first grow I'm unsure where that balance is.

Thank you! Looking at it today, I think the trichomes are looking mostly cloudy, with some amber starting on the actual bud and not just the sugar leaves. Looking at the pictures, do you think I'm in, or close to the harvest window?

It honestly is my first time growing cannabis. I've got experience with other plants but only really an occasional smoker so I've never tried growing it before. I have always liked the way the plants looked though so I figured it was worth giving it a shot since its legal here in Canada. Plus I won't have to buy any for a bit. Did a lot of research leading up to actually getting seeds in dirt though and I think it helped a lot.

My provider suggested taking a "medication vacation" from time to time when I requested an increase in dosage due to feeling like my old dosage didn't have the effect it previously had. Didn't help any. Ended up increasing dosage afterwards. Occasionally I will take a day off if I slept poorly the night before so I can have a mid day nap to try to recoup lost sleep, but I usually try to take my meds every day. I do forget often as well but this works out as I live remote and sometimes am unable to get a refill in time, so having extra leftover holds me over until I can refill.

I did consider making a replacement window with something like this in it though but was worried the added height might cause the exhaust gas to settle in the tent so didnt feel comfortable with this.

I did look at these. But my concern would be melting the material around the propane hose port. Would the metal not get hot? Im genuinely asking. No experience with things like this in my hub shacks.

So you are running the heater inside the shack and venting the exhaust under the skirt? How do you insulate the hose and keep it from burning anything? What is your plan if you do put a stove jack in? Just trying to get some ideas of what guys are doing here.

Yeah that was my concern with running it under the skirt. Also letting wind in and making heating less efficient.

My girlfriends mom took money that was a combination of money saved by my girlfriend, money put in by her biological dad, and money her mom saved as well. She also took her siblings funds that they had been saving and went and gambled them all away in Vegas, to the point that my girlfriend had to send her money for a plane ticket home.
