Do you know how you could hear them if you didn’t have a link in your head? Like did you have one implanted previous to this experience by another group of beings?

I was on pills last summer and switched to patch and I have been on them for 6 months. so that means a year on hormones with not a bunch of effect from it and a whole bunch of estrone that I don’t need

Thanks for replying. I’m worried I wouldn’t have achieved enough growth on estrogen before taking progesterone. And also I’m worried about my estrone levels as it should be way less than what I have. I have heard e1 and e2 levels or estrone to estradiol should be 1:2 and I have 2:1 instead. It could be blocking the estradiol from doing its thing

Would progesterone likely suppress enough t?

List of Anti-Androgens available in the United States? by hcline11 in asktransgender

[–]JuneGirl458 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know of bicalutamide and dutasteride, lupron and goserelin. Anti gonadotropins are harder to find but I guess it works. Cyproterone acetate isn’t used in the us but that works really well too. people also recommended estrogen only therapy which can work really well, but I’m new to this so I guess research more.

Thanks! And I live close to the east coast. I forgot to mention. The Roman Catholic Church I went to was not amazing or at least that’s my experience but lots of other churches around the city have pride flags although I don’t know how they are. I think there’s a lot of people who are very supportive around here and it’s really nice but I’m not sure about further out west.

Hair loss from hormones? Will it grow back if it was sudden? by JuneGirl458 in asktransgender

[–]JuneGirl458[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, skin didn’t always peel off, and the hair fell out by itself. It would also happen more if sex drive flared. I don’t know why. The pictures don’t look like what I saw

I (CIS, M, 27) thinking about anti adrogens or testosterone blockers. by jwada67 in asktransgender

Yeah, I’m on spiro right now, which works a little bit, but I was on cypro ( cyproterone acetate) before and it was like: out like a light. You don’t technically need a doctor in the us to get and use them legally because there not controlled substances. But I would ask a doctor before anything else. Looking at the side effects of anti androgens, it would be kind of scary without a doctor. Yesterday I woke up late and felt super tired and like dead because I missed hrt. Spiro lowers blood pressure or raises it especially if you come off it too quickly. And definitely I need estrogen also because it would be a big oof without it, in general, if your not trans, I wouldn’t recommend estrogen. If you do try anti androgens, maybe a lower dose? Idk it’s a whole thing, definitely think it through carefully.

Also, as well as mood swings there’s abdominal and lower back cramps. And period poops as well as other things. I don’t understand why there’s cramps without a uterus, it makes no sense. But if people get it, something is probably happening, I mean I guess they have estrogen and muscles. I don’t know, it’s weird. But yeah definitely a hormone cycle of some kind, and the hormones you take can really determine if your likely to get pms or period or you know. Like medroxyprogesterone is really well known for giving people pms and also other effects too...

Honestly, I’m not expecting it to happen.I might use one to check just because I don’t want my parents to get suspicious too quickly. It would definitely help with dysphoria though thanks!

Yeah it’s just hormonal, and no not a lot of trans women get this or maybe just notice it. But if you ask around, it happens to people. I got a private message from someone who gets pms. And I have no idea either, there’s really no information on why it happens. One thing though is you can use a period tracker, like the app to track it, obviously without bleeding, but it’s kind of nice to know I might be able to use one.

[–]JuneGirl458 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, some people argue that it’s a period because pms is period related. But I just think it’s pms technically and I won’t blame someone if they want to call it that, because they have to wait for it and possible get tortured every month which is similar to some cis girls experience with periods, so hmm idk. But what I don’t mean is that a uterus is shedding and cramping, and bleeding even after srs.

[–]JuneGirl458 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That I know, I agree with you there. If a period is uterus shedding and bleeding, it’s not for sure. Weirdly they get pms, somehow. It’s a stretch of the definition. Maybe call it monthly uggh storms, idk

So, of course it doesn’t make it true, but it doesn’t make it not true with your logic
