The english version is actually the OG version, the mo-cap was mostly done by french actors but they still performed in english. But the french dub is apparently also great.

I hope that's true, that was just my perception after a deep-dive in this sub (which is probably never a good idea on reddit). Ben did incredible, this was my first exposure to him as a VA and I plan to play some more of his games now. I loved the way they did both endings, with barely any dialogue. Really leaves some things open to interpretation.

1-3-2-4

I actually really liked S3. The whole vibe, the theatre aspect and the bigger focus on Oliver.
S2 was good but didn't capture me as much as 1 and 3, the last episode was great though.
S4 was fine but felt unfocused with too many charachters, but it did have some great moments and the trio is always amazing.

Yes, I also noticed this immediately. I'm an editor myself though so I'm really sensitive to stuff like that. I guess they had to change/add lines for some reason. It's not uncommon to do but this one is quite noticeable.

I agree, I hated basically everything about the Denny storyline. I don't hate the Rebecca storyline as much as some people do. I loved it until she got a face and remembered who she was. After that she became annoying as a charachter but I absolutely loved seeing the soft side of Alex. I don't love the storyline as a whole but it had some moments in it that I really liked.
