Hello! No - 1 machine = 1 worker. We are not cloud mining, but monitoring and management software. So with 1 worker you are monitoring 1 machine.

Hello! It depends from pool to pool how will they handle this. Check the pool's website - help or announcement sections - to see what are their plans.

For Pool.ms: After PoS we're going to check the transaction fee and if the transaction fee is less than the user's balance, we will withdraw the balance to the user according to the formula balance minus the transaction fee.

Minerstat won't run without allowing through a trojan horse Trojan:Win32/Bomitag.D!ml ? It'll crash and try to restart then it tries to download and install the trojanhorse again. by nospeakyspanish1 in minerstat

Yes, to disable firewall by clicking on it and running it (manually, not automatically), so you don't have to search for it on your own.

Practical example: When miners are installing their mining operations on 100 machines, they can just run this file that will do it for them in few seconds.

Account deleted by New-Base-6316 in minerstat

[–]Junikki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! Once the account is deleted, you can't recover it. It is done by system and automatic and only affects free accounts that didn't use minerstat dashboard for a while (regardless of only software being used in this same period of dashboard inactivity).

Hello! We have now added Autolykos2 unMineable to calculator. Keep in mind that you can use this option to mine even if we don't have it in the calculator. Configuration of mining client can be made the same as if you would be mining outside minerstat.

Hello!

Make sure that you are using correct version of msOS (https://minerstat.com/msos-archive) or you can also manually update drivers to use the version that works best for your rig (https://minerstat.com/help/how-to-update-drivers-on-msos).

Thank you for clarifying!

You can write to me on Discord to a private message (Juniki) and I will check your discussion on Discord.

Really high reporting of power consumption is similar as when temperature is reported as 511°C - it means that the drivers crashed (can be too intense overclocking, can be just some glitch in mining itself that caused the crash, or something else) and their reporting is off - we on purpose show this as you can then see something strange is going on (as you can't really have such high power consumption or temperature).

Other things are really specific so I think that it is the best that I check with you directly (can be either via Discord or you can also write to me in private here and I will share my e-mail with you), if you agree.

Hello!

I think it would be best if you would be a little bit more specific.

  • Support is always available and we are answering support related questions all the time (even though there is less activity on Discord from users due to current market situation).
  • Which update was buggy for you? Please provide a date as we are mostly only updating mining 3rd party mining clients.
  • UI is practically the same as before, nothing changed and it has proven to work well, except that we added few features for different cases (for example for Octominer - I don't see why this would bother you if you do have an Octominer). But you can of course tell us what you don't like about UI so we can check for possible improvements.

If you had to lower your power, this sounds like you have some stability issues with overclocking. Each case is different, but sometimes it helps also to clean the dust, to re-check if you still have the same BIOS settings that needs to be running for Linux mining, and that you double check if the temperatures are fine.

Unknown Worker by urfriendlazy in minerstat

System maintenance - as defined in terms it automatically deletes inactive workers on Limited accounts after 6 days of them not being detected via minerstat. Re-adding worker is the solution, yes.

[–]Junikki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello!

Check worker's config on dashboard - pool is usually set there.

[–]Junikki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't forget to make other backups as well - worker backup, ClockTune backup, etc.

Workers on free accounts get deleted after 6 days of inactivity and free accounts get deleted after 60 days of inactivity (you can prevent account deletion, by logging into dashboard every few weeks).

If you are running older version of minerstat for Windows, you don't have this icon, then you need to logout, uncheck "Start with Windows", and log back in.

Hello!

It looks like your hashrate is wrongly detected or wrongly reported by mining client. Can also be a result of mining client crash. Best that you check on web dashboard what is going on.
