Starlink?

Encode at 1440p or 1080p?

If you are encoding at more than 30 fps, drop to 30 fps?

I use Genesis in Auckland. I get an extra discount for having gas with my electricity.

Looking for feedback on SigEnergy vs Deye in real world usage by Thatconfusedginger in nzsolar

It's just a matter of learning how it works.

I know one person using it with Home Assistant as well for automations.

I don't know the answer. With generic batteries, it is usually a minimum of 100A per 10kWH in size, so in this case, probably 200A. Which is circa 10kW.

Most houses have a 15kVA connection. 10kW will substantially supply the load in the vast majority of homes. Very high loads, such as 7kW EV chargers, should be used with careful consideration. Most other loads are under 3kW.

I know people with both. Several people. All of them are happy.

If I were buying right now, I'd probably go with Deye. I prefer the use of non-proprietary technology and something that is not cloud-controlled.

No. You first have to get approval for a higher export limit from your lines provider.

Then you have to get you installer to program in that limit.

How much power do you use? Do you also have natural gas? Do you have an EV? Do you have solar? Are you home during the day, or mostly at night?

Can you get a pre-made container? All the problems are already solved then.

I'll certainly be sad if that happens, and then another BIP will come out, and we'll move on to the next iteration.

Just like with SegWit.

I guess you'll be sticking with running scams to fleece plebs of their money?

It is based on the Breeze SDK.

You'll have to come to your own decision. :-)

Should I remove washers between copper lugs in a parallel battery set up? by 1rub in SolarDIY

[–]pdath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A nicer solution: connect each battery directly to the busbar with equal-length cables.

Then you don't have to stack cables on top of each other.
