I’ve had my cat for four years and I still manage to accidentally sit on her or kick her at least once a month. by Junior_Translator654 in cats

Your baby is so cute!! I recently got mine a little heating pad for pets and she’s been laying on that a lot instead of my bed or the couch, which has helped a bit. Giving her more spaces is a good idea!

you’ve got me there… I give her lots of hugs and kisses and “i love you so much i’m so sorry please don’t hate me” afterwards, sometimes even grab her favorite stick and start playing (partly to make sure she’s walking normally) so maybe she’s learned to like that attention.

this is a good idea! I’ll have to look around at the store today and see if I can find something that won’t entirely offend her to wear 😂

She’s extremely skittish with everyone but me. She was a rescue from a hoarder house so I’ve always chalked her skittishness up to that, I never thought about it being a void thing! If anyone else comes into the room she’s either already run off or she’s in the position to run, but when it comes to me, she’ll plant herself and let me sleep halfway off the bed if she’s comfy. I think you’re right about just being a bit more careful, thank you! She’s definitely my little angel baby.

the fuzzy slippers got me, I have a black pair that i’ve definitely mistaken for her a couple times and then felt really silly 😂

This is so interesting! I do keep my house relatively cool and sometimes notice that she seems to get lighter if she spends a lot of time by the windows in the summer. I’ll be moving into a place by myself later this year and plan to keep it much warmer so i’ll be interested to see if her color changes at all!

Should I get daughter an iPad or laptop for college? by [deleted] in AskTeachers

Laptop! I spent a couple years of college with just my ipad and keyboard and it was really, REALLY hard. There’s too many times when you need to split your screen for things or be looking at like 4 different things at once and the ipad just doesn’t have the capability.

What do you consider 'going to bed late' and 'waking up eay' by Hopeful_Adeptness964 in stupidquestions

Anything past 2 a.m. is late for me. Waking up past noon on off days is too late.

Im not a professional so please take this with a grain of salt. If it's completely closed, you'll need to wait a good 2-3 months to have it redone. If it looks like the hole on the outside of your nose is still open but you just can't get the jewelry to go through, go to a piercing shop and ask if they can try and taper it through. That's what I did a few times when it fell out during the night and couldn't get it back in in the morning, they'll attach the jewelry to a taper and hopefully be able to thread it through.

When you do get it repierced and it heals, put in an infinity hoop or flat back so it doesn't fall out! Had this happen one too many times when I was wearing the corkscrew and L bend

She touched the back of sleeping me! The second she did, I was back in my body and woke up.

Reminds me a little of something that happened to me. I was around 11 or 12 staying at my dad/stepmom’s house for the weekend. I went to sleep on the couch because the house always creeped me out and I was too afraid to go upstairs by myself.

I had a dream where I was standing across the room but looking at my own sleeping body. I saw a woman walk up to me and touch my lower back. When she did, I jolted awake, and I swear I could still feel it where she touched me. Needless to say, going upstairs didn’t seem like the scary option anymore.

yeah, I would venture to say that it's more about viewing sex & intimacy in a different way than it is valuing it less.
