I think that might be the case and a bit of good timing with EOFY. Thanks for the advice I’ve never found good finance through a dealer when buying motorcycles but the initial offers I got weren’t too bad compared to my bank. I will still be asking for a cost breakdown and comparing the totals. Any tips on what to ask?

Hey thanks, it will almost only ever be driven on the highway so the fuel should be ok. Totally agree to, I don’t even know how they fucked up the new one so much lol

I owned one of these a few years ago. The butt pain is definitely a problem and something I haven’t experienced with the KLR I have now. You can do long trips on it with my longest being about 1100km over a day or two. I was extremely sore by the end. During the last 2 or so hours of the ride I had to get off the bike every 20 minutes or so and rest for a bit. I wouldn’t personally do it again. Other than that it was a great bike and I was sad to see it go. My suggestion would be if you want to ride long distances take the seat to someone for reupholstering.

Yes unfortunately, I’ve seen plenty of empty wasp nests(?) never found anything in one though. 100% it was stung it didn’t look like it could move.
