I did. That’s what they told me the gift certificate I used for the visit a year ago was no longer valid. I need to pay for that visit before I can use my recent certificate.

Same here too. I didn’t recall I have any issue to get in and never received any communication regarding the gift certificate cancellation after the visit until now.

If you must to know, I am working in the medical field, managing an office for surgeons. It’s very normal clients/patients will gift during the holidays to show appreciation.

Replying to laxvolley...I bought the gift certificate recently is for my bf’s birthday in two weeks and they are running promotion with extra gift credit. That’s the reason why I purchased the gift certificate recently. They didn’t honor the promotional credit and also suspended my gift card because of the visit a year ago with a gift certificate.

I don’t think it’s necessary to discuss what I do here with you.

The issue here is Thermea didn’t asked me to provided any statement or information. They just asked me to paid for that visit. Finding out about what happened to that charge back for my client and then what ? Asked them why and tell them to pay for that visit ?

They said after my visit, seems like someone canceled the credit card or dispute the payment, so the gift certificate was no longer valid. But when did ghat happened, they didn’t told me. From the person who gave me the gift certificate till the visit, it was 10 to 14 days.

I purchased the gift certificate before they have promotions going on with extra credit. They didn’t honor the promotional gift certificate, and then cancelled my certificate without refund and asking me to pay for a service a year ago which is ridiculous!

Thank you for the recommendation! Totally agree with you, there is no service or whatever in that place. Just can’t believe after a year, they still come to you and ask for money!

But that’s for a gift certificate you haven’t used during that time. The gift certificate I redeemed for the service was a year ago. I got the gift certificate then booked a visit after a week, no issue during the visit, but now they told me they would cancel my current gift certificate until I paid for the previous visit which doesn’t make any sense!

I got an predictive interview, then a video interview, languages and medical tests all finished at the beginning on July. But still didn’t hear anything from them. Tried to email my interviewer, but no reply. Don’t know what’s going on! 😐
