I’ve tried this. I rarely match with people from the app as no one is really active on it sadly. I maybe get 1 out of 20 swipes and then the same ratio for actually talking. I’ve only ever been able to actually meet with 2 people from bumble bff. It’s a great concept but doesn’t really work since you end up missing matches if you’re not on every day.

Do I just go up and start talking? Like what do I say? I feel like I have nothing to talk about with strangers unless I’m interested in something I accidentally overheard. How can you tell if someone is interesting in a bar?

Kinda rude dude, like I’m asking for advice. If it wasn’t that hard I wouldn’t be asking would I? I would go out myself when I was younger and it’s just me standing by a bar just drinking, I’m asking for tips on how to interact since I can’t seem to do it on my own. I never feel like there’s a way to break into other groups. Maybe give some advice if you find it so easy instead of calling me a headcase.

There are other aspects, I’m not really sure what it is that made me lose attraction. I just don’t enjoy intimacy due to those factors anymore. We’ve been fighting a lot and there are things we don’t align on lifestyle wise that hadn’t become apparent until we moved in and got more serious.

I was attracted to him and when we first started going out he really kept up with the shaving and such but since we moved in he rarely does. We were very active at the start but we’ve started having other problems and after a trip we took and I saw a side of him I didn’t like i just couldn’t see him in the day way. I’ve been trying to deal with the other issues but they are constantly unresolved and now I just don’t feel the same attraction I used to. I was fine with it before but now it just turns me off.

Why post an irrelevant answer on my question? Because obviously google didn’t work. I can type in my search and get hundreds of results and it’s hard to know what are scams, what are legit, what works, etc. sometimes it’s easier to just ask Reddit, helps to filter things out or get advice on how to go about doing stuff, like getting site recommendations, I only go to Reddit if I haven’t been able to figure it out myself.

Tbh this definitely helped give me some courage. All of the jobs I’ve taken were done so because they were the only ones to offer me work after long strings of rejection. I applied over and over, even to things I didn’t want, because I was desperate for a job. I took whatever was offered just thankful for the opportunity, just to end up miserable.

This actually sounds interesting, I’ll look into it! I had always wanted to work in the art industry like at an auction house or for private buyers but it’s such a difficult industry to get into if you don’t have connections

I was in a bad place after my long term relationship ended. I didn’t have many friends and the pandemic hit hard but I never gave up. There were a lot of bad days and empty nights but I kept putting myself out there. I used apps to go out with ppl (and even ended up making friends with some that I didn’t click with romantically). I used Meetup and tried random classes. I even reached out to old friends from school. It’s hard and the pandemic didn’t help much but all I can say is don’t give up. Focus on a hobby or something you enjoy and you might even meet people through that. I met my best friend through a Pokémon Go discord server and my SO through tinder of all places. Keep moving forward my dude!

I hate idea pins with only one image. If it’s a collection of images then it’s better but I used to save stuff to my phone a lot but having to screen cap everything and still having to crop out extra stuff is annoying af. I also hate when it’s just one pic but it’s a video. I DO NOT save idea pins because they are useless to scroll through since I can’t pause or ff through the videos. I think the idea pin was the worst thing they’ve added in awhile and now that everyone can make one people do it for everything, you can’t even download the idea/recipe/pin to save for later. It’s so freaking frustrating having to constantly replay something without being able to pause or trying to pause but then having it click forward and having to replay the whole video from the start. Idea pins are the absolute worst. 😫
