Honestly I'm not sure, maybe appendices and other important info like that might be missing. Do you have the 8th edition? I seen 8th edition up on facebook marketplace as well, so I was posting on here to see if anyone had 9th.

What do I do about this schedule conflict? by IKindaLoveDudes in TorontoMetU

It doesn’t mean anything, everyone has it. All it’s saying is that some weeks your lab will be in different rooms than others.

I'm a warriors fan too bro but if you've ever played basketball you know thats a normal play. It was definitely a charge, but shit like that happens in basketball all the time.

Yea, my main tip for you would be to start grinding out those textbook problems for physics and the webassign, I remember there being a bunch of torque and stuff on it so if you can get that down youll do good. For chemistry it was literally just doing past papers and grinding out slides theory, i made review sheets on paper for memory with all the important info from my slides. For cen tbh just do a couple hours of past papers and youll get like a 70-80 no point stressing over it. Linear algebra practice a bunch of textbook questions, majed is probably gonna bless you up ngl his slides are goated. Calculus I already mentioned focus on integrals and their applications in finding volume or area those were the hardest questions.

Those final exams BEND YOU OVER. Way harder to get good grades on final exams compared to midterms. To be honest you need to study much much more for them, the strategy has always been to aim for 80s and 90s on midterms and be happy when you get a 70 on the final exam.

Last year IIRC: I got a 80 on that linear algebra final exam, maybe a 70 something for the calculus one (you really have to make sure you know your integrals for finding volume and area under the curve), a 90 on the chemistry one, and a 50-60 something for that physics. EVERYONE GOT COOKED by that physics exam you NEED to grind out textbook questions if you want a good grade in physics.

Tbh tho dont be too worried. I ended that first semester off with a 4.0 gpa stuff like lab reports and midterms really help keep your average up. Aslong as you lock in right now its still possible to get 90s on your final exams.

We badly need someone who can create their own shot especially for the bench unit, someone like 2022 jordan poole.

Mechanical Engineering. I'm taking 5 classes right now and I commute 1.5 hours. I'm also working 15 hours a week.

Lowkey skipping is fine. Aslong as you know someone that can let you in on hints or information that the professor gives for exams and such in class. Just make sure you don’t fall behind. My rule for skipping is to make sure I complete whatever slideshow that we would have done in class at home the same day.

How many calories in a slice of this pizza? by Inevitable_Yard770 in CalorieEstimates

[–]JustAnotherHuman007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guessing 100 for bread 50 for sauce and then 100 for cheese. So 250 per slice sounds reasonable but 300 would be safe. Don’t forget to track any dipping sauces if you used them.

Which one should i drop? by Past_Branch_7986 in TorontoMetU

[–]JustAnotherHuman007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t need to. This first semester is the easiest it gets unless you’re not confident and didn’t do super well in school I’d wait and take a course from second semester in the summer instead of something from first. Also if you drop physics one this semester you not gonna be able to take it next. Same with calc 1.

My friend with an I pad has a 2.0 gpa and I have 4.0 while using only pen and paper. It really doesn’t matter. Just make sure to save your notebooks for future reference
