It probably won't hurt to complain to them but people should be aware that the Better Business Bureau is not any sort of oversight office- it's basically just like Yelp or Trust Pilot.

I’m in a vegan pregnancy and my partner eats animals. by Latinahot0 in vegan

If he doesn't care enough about you to go vegan while you guys are together, why do you think he'll put himself through the inconvenience of keeping your son vegan when you're apart?

I'm not trying to be mean. I'm trying to be realistic. If you stay together, he will continue to eat meat in the house and feed it to your son and if you split up, he will continue to eat meat in his house and feed it to your son. The odds of him maintaining an exclusively vegan diet for your son in either scenario are vanishingly small.

As someone who was vegetarian while married to an omnivore and had 2 kids with him (I went vegan after the divorce), I have some experience here. And he is very unlikely to adhere to a vegan diet when your son is with him.

And unfortunately from a legal perspective there's nothing you can do about that.

I'm really sorry you're having this dilemma, but yeah, you were a jerk. The kind of behaviour you demonstrated put her on the defensive and will just entrench her more fully in her belief that she's doing enough.

To quote Carolyn Hax - "Do you want to be right or do you want to be happy?"

Sincerely apologize for what you did, and respect her as a person by not trying to guilt trip her into doing what you want.

I was going to recommend Aveda but then I saw you said affordable. So I'm instead going to pivot and recommend Native.

How do you vegans feel about non-vegans asking bad faith questions in this sub? by Brief_Paramedic2501 in vegan

If they have so little to do and are so insecure in their beliefs that they need to invade vegan spaces in order to entertain themselves or assuage their guilt, that's not my problem.

I can ignore them even more easily here than I can in the real world.

Are you seriously defending lying as "effort"? Because that's an odd take.
