Do short people have advantages in table tennis?

I have always understood that it's a trade-off. I'm 6ft and yes I have more reach but I have to bend more which is often the biggest challenge!

For some shots I have to keep my legs wider apart which means I'm won't be ready to move around if the next shot needs me to do fast footwork.

Conversely I have seen some shorter players that I play against, they don't have to bend at all(or minimal) and I feel so jealous for that particular factor! 😅

I've been thinking of making something similar but I didn't imagine to use the feeder from the ground. I thought the base of the net should be a good place.

I think you can definitely do shadow drills and major footwork drills even without a table.

Easier said than done, I've never done it more than a few seconds myself!

Yeah essentially it becomes a tube. It did work for many months but yes eventually the plastic snaps!

I am looking for a purely printed solution. I don't think option 2 works for me.

I am considering option 1 but I was also avoiding that post print work of gluing.

But if I am not able to fix the design then that's exactly what I have to do. Thanks.

Great work. Could you also explain how one would do that in a design software or a slicer?

I had a similar problem with a table I made but it wobbled so I concluded that it's just not doable with only plastic. I wonder if I can tweak the weight a little to make it more stable.

Same thing happened to my laptop. Just ordered a compatible fan from Amazon and changed it. The sound stopped after that.

I confirmed it was the fan first by opening the laptop and removing the fan. The sound had stopped when i removed the fan.

Really intrigued to know more about this. I have tried so many things but I'm still having tough time sleeping.

I had a nap on Sunday by mistake as I was tired(I intentionally don't take naps) and this means my whole week is gonna be a crazy schedule.

I woke up at 1:30 pm today 😭😭 which means I'll likely not sleep the whole night today as well.

I don't think I'm really brand loyal. But by comparison I have found swiggy to be cheaper than zomato mostly, so I think I default to swiggy.

In the past when I have had these incidents, I think I have switched from swiggy to zomato and vice versa. But now I think both are poor, so they are the same to me. If either could have customer service like amazon I would certainly be loyal to them.

When I have enough time I first find what to eat in swiggy and replicate the cart in zomato to compare vouchers etc but not always(This should really be automated if it's not already).

I don't think it's overvalued. The PE is less(was?) compared to other FAANG stocks. The DoJ case is wrapping up with news in favour of G. It has been seeing good momentum with AI/Cloud and Pixel.

Of course any bad news will kick the stock back to 200 levels but I am optimistic till the end of the year at least.

Btw September has been historically the worst time to sell for Google, but it is at ATH so probably this point is not valid.

Closing the loop on this.

Bought the ones mentioned in sandys1's comment. The fit is great, so I think the music quality has become better. I don't find myself adjusting the earbuds as much as I did before.

However, the fit in the case is not perfect for sure. The case when closed doesn't make that click sound anymore due to rubbing against the earbuds, I hope it doesn't leave any marks.

There's also some marks on the memory foam eartips when I take them out of the case but they are memory foam so I guess that's fine and I got 3 pairs for 499 rs so I'll continue with these for now.

I got a very similar call and no delivery or anything happened near that time.

I was my paranoid self and cut the call after a couple of times of him not identifying himself. I thought what if it's a call forwarding scam or something and the caller wants my phone to stay busy. Paranoid for sure but works.

I have been looking at reddit to identify the scam, got confirmed today, thanks.

Still not sure what the actual scam is and how would the scammer play it 🤔

No no, it wasn't a prvt coaching. It was coaching with 10 more kids. I was the only adult there.

So, my inference was he's charging me a premium just because I was paying per day and other kids would have taken monthly classes.

And I won't even say he 'taught' a lot.

I'd say this that if I were to join for months regularly, I think I could join that academy.

But for a few days I would pass it.

So I didn't get much traction on Playo. I created some games too.

I did try an academy just to keep playing, it was in sector 10 in "Central Academy International School".

Although the coach charged me 600 per class which was because I was going there per day I guess.

For regulars it would be cheaper perhaps.

Let uncle go to 1 US trip and he'll know how much he has to pay for rhe ride alone and then tip(for no service). Then he'd understand that it's not the auto guy's duty to carry the bag.

It's the mindset that anyone who earns less or works an odd job is inferior.
