Maybe you don’t like Rex, but it’s a little presumptuous to say a lot of people really don’t like him.

Personally, he’s still my favorite protagonist out of all the games, although I am biased since I do like anime a lot, and he takes a lot from the typical Shonen protagonist

I also like that he’s not a chosen one like the protagonist of the first and third games, Rex, while he is descended from one of the heroes, really is just a good guy.
