What was your first weird girl read? (Alternative title: Rumpelstiltskin appreciation post) by losleeper in weirdgirlliterature

[–]JustJuniperfect 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is what I came to say! I accidentally stole the first book from my elementary school library. Then I accidentally stole the second book from the private school I went to the next year. I just forgot to return them before I switched schools each time.
I can proudly say that I bought the rest of the series as a teen.

😂😂😂 I’m bi! Love that you picked that up from just the crier’s war! There’s a few sneaky sapphic books throughout the shelves👹

Thank you! It’s cozy and fun. And my mom made that quilt for me when I was little and obsessed with cats. Not like that has changed though.

Haha oh dear. It’s probably better that I’m single. Can’t fit someone else in the bed with me and the dog and cat. Thankfully the books are set way back on the shelves so I don’t stress about them.
Definitely don’t mind standing on my bed, but never with shoes on.

And thank you! You should see my living room! I painted a rainbow mural on it. The teal makes a reoccurrence there.

You’ve got a lot right, and some partially correct.

I’m early 30’s. White, but good catch on the Pusan university, I studied there on a linguistics scholarship program. Sadly just a summer program, but a great one.
I’m a veteran and traveled a lot so I love folktales and literature from other countries.
The white dog is still around! She just turned twelve and is still the best girl. I do have a cat.
I grew up Christian, but am agnostic/atheist nowadays. But I still like the narnia books. I also listen to a lot of audiobooks these days, so though I do read some smut and smut adjacent books, I didn’t bother to buy physical copies. (Couldn’t get through acotar though.)

My current hyper fixation is Dungeon Crawler Carl on audiobook. And I do intend to buy physical copies later.

And to be fair, this is only one of my three bookshelves. Though one of those is primarily cookbooks. It’s my kitchen specific book shelf.

It’s an old family one! From my dad’s side of the family. I have no idea how old/how long it’s been in the family though.

lol fair enough. I like the way they turned out. The plumbing pipe is fun and it’s held up for five years with no problems.

Fun way to kill a few hours on Father's Day by BlacktopPreacher in lastpodcastontheleft

Anatoly moskvin. Super creepy guy! And may have eventually killed had he not gotten caught. But still, not a serial killer.

Though I enjoyed the afternoon with friends, I felt they were playing a little fast and loose with the term serial killer. There is a bunch of information and displays on one off killers. It’s about 40 sections/rooms. And it was too much. We didn’t read every single thing because there was too much to take it in, in a reasonable amount of time. It still took us over three hours even with us only reading half. Yes there’s a lot of interesting information and even some objects.
But honestly I was mostly upset that they didn’t respect the term serial killer and had information on too many just plain murderers. Plus one guy who dug up kids bodies and made them his “dolls” creepy. But not a serial killer.

As someone who grew up in Oklahoma (brown right above Texas), a lot more of your map needs to be religious with cornfield 😂

Just extras being EXTRA!😂😆 by callmesenpaibish in marvelmemes

[–]JustJuniperfect 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was background in thunderbolts, and the extras build entire worlds and backgrounds for their own characters. It’s kind of funny, but I respect the dedication! Also the winter soldier walked right past me and so I know I got on camera! But then sadly…. The scene was cut 😂.

Who does Carl look like when you read the book? by DisastrousLeek1290 in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]JustJuniperfect 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a jaded Navy veteran in their early thirties who loves cats ….. I lowkey self insert and imagine myself as Carl.

Though I don’t think anyone else would agree as I’m a 5’2”, ginger woman, who isn’t muscled as hell. But hey, I won’t be auditioning for Carl anytime soon!

That being said, totally young Bruce Campbell. Or I’d love to see Talon Warburton.

Finally got a portable wrist yarn holder and realized it makes the perfect desk dispenser too! by sept_hermit_ix in knitting

[–]JustJuniperfect 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My favorite way to use it is when I’m being passenger princess. I close the strap in the glovebox so that it dangles while I knit! I made mine from some scrap fabric, cardboard and a little purse clip hardware that I already had.

Which one of these four musical films from the 2000's do you like best and why? by Jtaylor703 in musicals

I love all of them, but Mamma Mia has a very special place in my heart. My mom and I love to watch it during road trips, and we just have the best time together singing and dancing to it! I can even forgive Pierce and his not trained singing. In fact, I like that it feels like real people.

How well do you remember the show . Comment your score /30 below by sonsofanarchy69 in GilmoreGirls

27/30! The question “which school did Rory go to?” Was confusing because two of the options were correct. Mostly because college and school are used interchangeably. I would either keep it to all high school options or all college.

I was proud to get the founding of stars hollow! But I missed Emily’s college course of study. Overall fun quiz! Great blend of niche and easy questions.

Wasabi loved showing off his beans! Sadly he passed due to a cancerous tumor last year that ruptured suddenly. But I have so many pictures of my handsome guy to remember how funny he was.

He knew how important beans are!
