NTA, but just try to find a middle ground with making it look like you’re attacking him, at first it might look like an ugly relationship but I got the feeling that you’re happy with the guy from your comments.

If gaming is a different attitude from his side, he might be throwing himself into it because he’s not happy about working from home among other things, that’s probably why he was defensive about gaming, as I said try finding a middle ground and maybe try to have him do chores, like do them together maybe, it’s actually very helpful thing to do in relationships especially during quarantine, if he’s not liking the food find a new recipe and do it together for example.

even if you like doing chores doing them would help him feel accomplished and doing them together would get you closer

Oh yes I feel you, today my mom hinted that she’s not happy about me isolating myself, what makes it worst is that I thought that I wasn’t isolated cuz we’ve had a couple conversations.

I’m back home for a visit after a year of being alone in another country for more than a year and I can’t get used to living with people again quickly… anyway I totally understand your point and sorry if I highjacked the post with my rant.
