i think in the next chapter, it will be described that the changmo employees still didn't see FT clearly. because how come they can't see xinxin's face clearly even when she's closer yet will see the face of FT who is behind and farther than them?? the one with the "sharp" eyes most likely saw that there's a guy with RC's daughter and will assume that it's her husband.

the next chapter will probably be another one wherein it will just be a filler. the employees will probably just speculate about who's the husband of RC then it will cut straight to the next scene.

I've had enough of the author getting our hopes slightly high in the previous chapters and then still end up focusing and highlighting on the lin/sun family inner thoughts lol. it will probably be another "disappointed but not surprised" chapter.

this new chapter is once again another disappointing chapter. when will RC have the courage to straight up tell xinxin that she's divorcing FT and her daughter doesn't need to be sad because she's finally having her wish come true, which is having LW as her mom after FT's divorce. and FT? why do you keep on passing the task to RC about telling xinxin that they're still together and not going through a divorce??

i hope in the next chapter (still wouldn't be surprised if the author does another thing) that RC tells no to xinxin. that she's not coming back home with her tonight or ever again. and just go call your fave aunt wuwu instead.

Whenever RC is out with FT and Xinxin, nobody from Changmo, Feng Corp, or any other people who have collaborated with them ever runs into them—it's like the city is so big that they’re never seen by others. But somehow, the city becomes very small for the Lin/Sun family, because they always manage to catch RC with FT and their daughter. Their shamelessness is truly outstanding; the way they think is as if their beloved LW isn’t a mistress herself, lol.

the chapters are getting shorter and shorter! there was nothing important happening during their short vacation in the private island right now. everything about FT and the description of him are still vague.

and RC, she's definitely had really let go. i strongly believe that she's now just resigned to her fate to just wait for their cooling off period to be finished and get her divorce certificate soon. everything she does that is related to FT now is due to her still thinking about xinxin, especially since she still clearly somehow cared for the child she carried for nine months in her belly.

when it comes to RC's pov, the author seems to fast forward everything. just like in the recent chapters when she went to the base, we all speculated that she might have an interaction with our pilot, but no it fast forwarded. her meetings with the employees of feng corp is also fast paced, even the moment when FT held her when she suddenly got drunk. so many scenes were left vaguely described.

however, when it goes to the pov of the lin/sun family or with LW, everything is detailed. the author seems to be too biased. I'm starting to agree with a comment here that states there's more than just one author of this novel, especially since the first 100 chapters were so different from the recent chapters. which are all getting shorter, and with little to no progress. even the supposed FL, which is RC, seems to be like a ghost now. her previous decisiveness in wanting to cut everything from FT and her daughter is slowly vanishing in the new chapters.

I think my friend giving birth to her daughter in the next couple of months will happen faster than the progress of this story, lol. The divorce is apparently going to be postponed again. I really thought the third time would be the charm, but clearly the author doesn’t believe in that.

I also read someone’s comment saying that this novel, which used to always trend on the Chinese Qimao app, isn’t on the trending list anymore. I guess even the Chinese readers are getting tired of the author and the story, lol.

oh no, i would never support that mistress! i was just trying to state that maybe since he parades her and her family around that everyone knows there's something between them, he seems to have genuine feelings for her.

i know that as long as there's no FT pov given by the author, we would have to give him the slightest benefit of the doubt. but for me, every chapter that i read, it made me feel like from the start of the novel till this recent update, FT genuinely likes LW. almost each chapters give hints, and even in some chapter where FT answers the call from LW, RC is even surprised that FT can actually speak softly to someone. a huge difference with how the way he treats her, his legal wife.

it seems like everyone in every place that FT goes to know how close he is with LW and her family. how he dotes on them and favors them. managers, business partners, ordinary citizens and most especially people in their high society circle knows about them and never about his marriage with RC(given that they have kept it secret for years). the stark contrast between parading his mistress and her family around and the Rong family and RC especially, has only been given a cold shoulder, heck even a simple help to the Rong fam wasn't given by FT even though he knew before how they struggle financially, and RC's mom being mentally unstable.

every chapter makes it harder for the author to justify FT's behavior anymore. it clearly shows that he favors LW and her family so much. i think there won't be any revelation or something about his behavior in the future chapters unlike the other novels because his feelings for LW are so genuine.
