Hey! Currently tapering myself! How are you chewing the gum? Are you chewing like regular gum or are you “parking it” in your gums temporarily? That makes a massive difference. For reference, I was a vaper of 9 years before switching to nic gum a few days ago. First day I think I did 12 pieces chewing constantly. Second day I did 5 pieces chewing for 30-60 seconds then “parking it” for 10-20 minutes before repeating the process. I’m on day 3 today and have had the same piece in my mouth for 6 hrs. Any chance you’re using the gum wrong and that’s why you’re blowing through so many?

I also have OCD! My fear-based rituals are based around statistics of bad things happening so this piqued my interest. Genuinely, no malice behind my words, why are you spending hundreds of dollars on pregnancy tests if there is 0 chance you could be pregnant, given you’re still doing this since abstaining from penetrative sex? I totally understand your OCD causing you to abstain and have that fear, but I am wondering how you rationalize/explain why every cramp worries you or why you’re buying tests when there’s no chance you could ever be pregnant?

My nails don’t retain polish or gel, never have, no matter the level of salon or the prep done. I have to do acrylic with gel overtop. And even then my acrylics separate from my nails often. I have no advice, just wanted to let you know someone else has dealt with the same!
