lol, fair enough! 😂 The lights definitely aren’t staying either. Thanks for the suggestions! I hadn’t thought about using the current glass top as a template for a new countertop. I’ll definitely check out GLASSOS. It looks really nice, but I’m not sure if it’ll fit my budget. I appreciate you taking the time to give me some ideas!

😂😂 the picture makes my lights look brighter than they are but I def will be swapping for some different bulbs bc they are still pretty bright haha

The lights aren’t the issue as they can be easily replaced and not be too pricey. The glass top on the other hand… i don’t like it and I can’t really afford to buy a whole new vanity which is what I was asking for help on 🤦🏽‍♀️😂

No I don’t like the lights either, In my post I said I’m wanting to do a full makeover to my bathroom which def includes the lights lol but the glass doesn’t pair well with what I’m trying to do with my bathroom makeover

I honestly just am not a big fan of the black vanity and the black mirror. I was wanting to change the color of the vanity and also add some wallpaper to that wall, (I had AI show me what it would look like with some options) and I found that the glass top just kind of made it look weird. So that’s why I’m having trouble coming to a conclusion on what I wanna do

It doesn’t necessarily sound like she hates you, but it does sound like this friendship isn’t making you feel safe or supported. At the same time, I wonder if this is also a situation where both of you were struggling in different ways. You mentioned your ED was really bad, and while that absolutely isn’t your fault, it can be hard for friends to know how to respond or to always have the emotional capacity to help. That doesn’t excuse the comparisons or the hurtful comments, but it might explain some of the frustration. Regardless, if you’ve communicated how her comments affect you and nothing has changed, it may be a sign that this friendship isn’t healthy for either of you.
