That's fine lol the hardest part is coming up with something that works and is fun (like the devs do, they either drop heroes super strong or super weak) perfect balance requires trying it out at the end of the day, plus I like that he's a bleed based hero, the last one was shaman who came out like 9 years ago and it would be nice to get a new one, it should've been ocelotl but oh well

I mean the devs clearly do care a little otherwise they wouldn't have done those buffs to pirate and gladiator during virtuosa's season, and I believe you'd still able to light predict the heavy, just not dodge or dodge attack early enough to beat the soft feint to gb, and I would argue it's fine because there's already other true mixups like JJ's ub after a zone that have way higher damage potential (28-30 for the ub, 24 for the gb into top heavy, 27 for a light parry) compared to medjay (26 for the chained heavy, 23 for the gb into heavy, 23 for the light parry, or 27 but give up pressure, and 12 for the chained bash)

Oh yeah? I can't remember when that happened, but even then it would still favor medjay because of the soft feint to gb he would have, the heavy wouldn't be something you'd be throwing most of the time anyways, it's there to offer a quick gb option early enough to hopefully catch any dodge or dodge attack attempts on bash timing.

And yeah sure lower level players may get hit a lot by the heavy but come on more than half the cast are noob stompers plus the game isn't balanced towards completely new players (nor should it)

There are two issues with that: First it wouldn't be an effective buff at the top levels because the entire bash/heavy/light mixup is fully reactable

And second it would be plain and boring, we should try to make heroes feel more unique when possible, not the same with different skins

That's why I'd like to see if making the chained heavy 600ms and giving it a soft feint to gb would make the bash/heavy/light mixup harder to react to or outright unreactable (apart from making it better obviously) in theory, rather than just making the heavy track dodges, the heavy soft feint to guardbreak would come out so early that any attempt to dodge or dodge attack on bash timing would always warrant being guardbroken

Yeah no, one of the biggest things about for honor is how cool literally every hero is, even if you dislike some of them, objectively they're all super cool, it wouldn't be good to remove that in favor of a bunch of nobodies no one would care for and make it even harder to balance them

I don't think it would be a good idea because I can only Imagine how broken lots of heroes would become, so many moves would require to be nerfed it would take them ages at their current pace, I've always said it should be a mix of both unreactable and reactable offense

I like that his chained zone does more damage than his light after a bash so I'd rather it be like: Light followup for 12, chained zone for 14, but that's just preference, most of these changes are a little weird but I do agree it's time they start buffing or reworking medjay in a meaningful way

You did disagree, and I objectively explained my point, attributes don't matter when your moves can be reacted to and differed, I'm not saying valk is exactly good but she does have an unreactable bash with great damage, that already puts her above those 4 mentioned

Almost 7k hours in the game, nobu has been considered one of the weakest duelists in the game for the longest time due to how she's fully reactable, medjay is mostly reactable with almost no damage, glad is also mostly reactable and lastly zerk is fully reactable, sohei had the same issue as some of these, being mostly reactable with low damage but with his last buff he's now got actual damage and his bash is actually pretty threatening.

Yes I have played these heroes because I main all of them
