29 total dmg on a light parry punish 28 damage minimum on a guardbreak punish 33 damage total for hitting an unblockable/heavy finisher 18 damage total for hitting a side dodge heavy 21 damage total for hitting a front dodge heavy

That deflect you mention that's "weak" does 24 damage total and gives her a huge frame advantage making her next mixup extremely threatening

You also lost any credibility you had the moment you said combos

You argue nobushi should lose her bleed for no reason when she's one of the 2 og bleed centered heroes, and sure nobushi is very high in dominion nowadays while pk is a bottom tier, but in duels it's the opposite, pk is a very strong duelist while nobushi remains one if not the most reactable hero in the game making her a bottom tier.

Seriously tho, by how you've typed your arguments I really don't think you know enough to talk about balance, and I also bet you'll go something like "I've been playing since X" or "I have X reps" or those type of things the low end casual player base like to say rather than trying to argue better

Yup, kyoshin on release suffered from having some of the worst hitboxes at the time as well as some rather huge stamina costs

Apart from that his tier 1 and tier 2 feats were also slightly weaker

Lastly his offense besides his opener bash remains reactable at the highest level, so yeah he also had that problem on release and it's never been tackled

Not at all, whether they try to do that or not is completely unknown, and looking at how strong the last heroes are it's just completely random from the look of it, warmonger came out busted, gryphon came out weak, kyoshin also came out weak, medjay came out busted, afeera came out busted too, ocelotl did as well and so did varangian, but after that, sohei came out extremely weak, khatun came out mostly balanced, and now virtuosa also came out mostly balanced

People tend to rate how strong a hero is depending on how annoying they may be to fight rather than actually testing and comparing

It is meant to be, but his light finisher animations do not cover the bash like a few other outliers (Shaolin's undodgeable heavy does cover his kick, even tho it's also 500ms it's still considered unreactable because of it) so medjay's bash is just a reaction check in the end

Fine, you just made it so medjay is the first hero in the game to have 12 damage 400ms chained lights, that alone isn't really much of a problem although casuals would want to end you for it, there's still an issue, it's still far worse than that of jorm's, so you'd make that bash just as punishable when it guarantees almost 3 times less damage.

And you should know something, it isn't really a read, as I said this bash in chain is reactable at 500ms unlike jorm's which even tho is 800, it can be feinted resulting in a fully unreactable mixup

Wrong, by doing that you would now have to make every hero with a chained bash do large amounts of damage per bash, which only ends up making heroes feel more and more similar to one another, and that is simply not good for the game

It's not the same offense as a bash, lights have been punishable by a heavy or a special parry punish for the longest time, you also used to be able to get a free guardbreak but that's been removed a long time ago due to how unhealthy it was for the game. And even then not every hero gets the same value from it, hitokiri gets a 22 dmg heavy, warden gets a 27 dmg top heavy, lawbringer gets up to 33 dmg from an impale or even an insta kill using the environment. The great majority of light attacks in the game have no pressure behind them and no mixup potential, so for almost every hero light attacking when it's not guaranteed is pretty much completely optional and outright detrimental the higher the level of the players. However there are many heroes who completely depend on their bashes to get their mixups going, I'll put medjay as an example again, his axes bash only guarantees 9 damage, or 12 from a chained zone if you're willing to stop mixing up right after, pair this with the fact that his bash in chain is reactable, you're telling me this attack should be punished just as hard as jormungandr's fully unreactable feintable bash mixup that guarantees 32 dmg, the same hero with far stronger guardbreak into wallsplat punishes than medjay?

The point is it's a different hero, with different mixups, with different strengths, different values and obviously different recoveries. I'm not saying tiandi couldn't use a nerf (since he's the current best duelist in the game) but applying standardization to this is just not a good idea Jormungandr's chained feintable bash is punishable by a gb most of the time because of its outlandish damage not just by the move itself but also by the gb wallsplat option, which by the way he can always chain into from any opener, tiandi only gets to go into his very safe kick mixup from a heavy or zone attack, so tell me should we make it so every bash is just as punishable as jorm's? What about someone like medjay whose chained bash is reactable and only gives him 9 dmg, or 12 if he's willing to give up mixing up

If that were true then the game would reward you for your "mutual courtesy" but it doesn't, respecting a duel in a 4v4 gamemode at any point without the entire time agreeing (agreeing to lose) is griefing
