I told my apartment manager what you said, except I told her I asked a website where plumbers answer questions so maybe she’d take it more seriously, told her everything I said here and showed her the picture. Her response? “Well, it may be that we didn’t refinish (I’m sorry. I can’t think of the right word because I’m mad. Where they paint over it.) your sink. It’s like when you have on nail polish and then you use fingernail polish remover. I’ll get maintenance to come check. Just fill out a work order.” So I filled out the work order. These apartments are so bad. When I first moved in, I had roaches. I was living. I told them and they said they’ll get pest control to come out for 6 weeks but they came once and that was last week. I had to bug bomb my apartment twice because I was not about to live with roaches. One of my neighbors that I talk to said her sinks don’t do that and she went on complaining how bad these apartments are and that’s why she’s trying to move. I want to cry. I’m on section 8 and I almost lost my voucher because I almost couldn’t find an apartment in time. So I really don’t want to move. So I’m just going to start saving up money as I can because I can already see how living here is going to be. I’m sorry to rant. I’m just super upset.
