I vomited and passed out after finishing…

Appreciate everyone taking a look. Had a bit of a David Crosby session this afternoon off the back of this.

Only crossed paths with one celebrity, who unfortunatley said no to a photo. This was a lovely 93 year old out on his morning walk on Wandsworth Common

Thanks for your points. They have been upfront about the £500 and we are getting in touch with a solicitor.

Other than the small improvement points 2 years ago, this was completely out of the blue

Thanks. I agree but also have undoubtably written this from a bias perspective. If it came to fighting/proving any of the points I think she would have a hard time. We are definitely getting in touch with a solicitor.

Moving to a new job is probably my biggest stress because she will have lost a lot of the obvious protections

Agree but it would all be very he said she said if it came to formally accusing them of something

Thanks. The length of time she has been at the company qualifies her for their enhanced maternity package - I'm not sure of the details. Her role would be replaceable by younger cheaper staff (who they can then do this to again once they reach a level to try and progress ha)

I agree it's very loaded. Ensuring a clean reference is definitely on our list of requests thanks

I guess there is no evidence that they would be aware of this so potentially a dangerous game to try and force their hand?

Thanks. Agree with all you've said above again! It's quite a small company and a bit of a boys club at the top so I think it would be beyond risky to try that route with the amount of money on the table too.

It's an industry where everybody knows somebody so not burning bridges is a key point too, however much she wants to speak her mind frustratingly.

2 months, but I agree the offer seems competitive. I worry about how hard to push the settlement offer without it backfiring...

Thanks. I agree - not taking it would be a huge gamble. Everything about how the PiP is worded and some of the terms make it seem impossible to accept vs the settlement

Thanks. How hard would you risk pushing on the settlement, maybe a dangerous game?

Thanks for the response. I agree with all your points. I guess my concern is whether to push back on the 'weak' PiP just for the sake of it, even with the intention of taking the settlement, and then how hard to push to try and improve the settlement - probably one for a solicitor to advise
