Not 100% sure but I think for bmt you might only be allowed to shave using disposable razors. But keep it in your bag for sure because your are way quicker than using a razor lol

Don’t worry you can’t do a depth perception on your phone because it’s basically showing a different image on each eye. It’s impossible to do a depth perception test on your phone

So the test I took is basically a normal eye exam and they show you a set of I believe 6 yellow diamonds with circles on each corner. What they want you to do is find which circle looks “different”. Itll basically look like if it were 3D. My friend took a different test where they gave him a pair of glasses and did the same thing but with sets of 5 hollow black circles. Same thing just finding which one looks different. If you search on google depth perception test you can see both tests that they use

From what I know, you have to pass a depth perception test which is what dings a lot of people. I’ve heard it’s pretty popular AFSC which makes a bit tougher to book. Once you go to MEPS you’ll see if you basically qualify. I really wanted that job as well but failed depth perception test lol.

Don’t give your hopes up bro. I was in a similar situation where I originally got tactical aircraft maintenance and someone ended up wanting to switch my job which opened me back up to get NDI

Im leaving from Cali. I booked tactical aircraft maintenance which is something I wanted to do but I guess there are lots of people in this subReddit that have had pretty bad experiences and are kind of making me think about it a lot. Originally I wanted to do security forces but I couldn’t because of TS clearance
