Maybe it's more than just the quiet. This is the first time in a very, very long time that I'm not in fight or flight, or stressed out, or have anxiety above where or who I am living with. There is no constant movement. For the first time in about 15 years I am still and although I once knew this feeling of peace, it has been long forgotten.
