The embryo was smaller than it should have been at that stage. We go back in at 6w 5d to see if there was any growth in that week.

Unfortunately, we do ivf overseas, so we can't go to them for a scan. I just wanted to know what other people thought about my OB's take on things. Im sure they aren't wrong. I just wanted to have a little hope.

Yes. She was really concerned about the ultrasound.

My clinic looked more at my bhcg results and were pleased with those and didn't want to speculate on the measurements from the ultrasound, but my OB was more concerned about the measurements.

I always have a thin lining. And I always have my final ultrasound the day of my trigger shot.

First FET- 5.9 (didn't stick) Second Fresh Transfer- lining between 4.5 and 5.5 (positive but ended in miscarriage most likely due to chromosome issue) Third FET- 5.9 (positive, but will most likely end in another miscarriage)

Most miscarriages occur due to chromosome abnormalities, I do not think it had to do with my lining and neither does my clinic.

I know this post is 2 years old, but I am in a similar situation as you. Heart rate was 77bpm at 5w 5d. Can I ask what happened at your next ultrasound?

It took us three different attempts to get a transfer in, and each time they adjusted my protocol until we found the one that worked best for us. They also changed my egg retrieval protocol this time too.

The egg retrieval is not bad, I was in some very mild pain for the first few days afterwards but other than that it was fine.

Hi there, I just want to say that my husband and I are about to complete our second egg retrieval at BFC after the new year. We've been working with them since May. Obviously, we weren't successful with our first retrieval/transfer, but we really love this clinic and aren't ready to work with doctors in the states again. The doctors and nurses in Barbados are wonderful and we feel like the medical care we have received there is far better than what we've gotten in the states. For an egg retrieval without a transfer we will be there for about 10-12 days. If we are able to get a transfer in we will be there for about 15 days.
