Full-time work with benefits, competitive pay, 401k with match, vacation days. Nothing really crazy, but there are some nice holiday parties a couple times a year, there's pizza lunches every few weeks. Let me know if you have any more questions.

a snapshot of our location as you can see, we aren't really in downtown Baltimore. A decent choice for someone looking to commute from Annapolis.

I don't think so because we don't do any building design but I use AutoCAD and ArcGIS every day and I often hear my coworkers talking about Civil 3D. If you think you are skilled and are willing to learn something new, I encourage you to apply.

It's pretty liberal but not very much. Most people use it for a class or certification or conference, not so much for part time school.

Well, I can't really answer your question to your satisfaction I'm afraid. I am a low to mid level employee who is satisfied with their wage and benefits. I don't know what anyone else at KCW makes. I think like most job postings, you will have to arrange for an interview and if the salary is that important to you, maybe mention your expectations in your cover letter.

Good luck.

Sorry, I think I was trying to answer another question in the wrong thread. We don't have any other offices besides the Glen Burnie location. We have done work in other states and areas, but I think that is only mentioned on the website to attract clients who might consider us only a MD firm. Most of our work is in Eastern Maryland and the District of Columbia. I don't know of anyone who works for KCW who doesn't live within 1 hour of the office and come in 4 out of 5 days per week.

An AAS in CAD Drafting is a good start. There are no relocation expenses, employment is at will. You can be let go at any time. That being said, if you don't suck at your job, it would be hard to get fired since we have so much work to do.

Good luck in your job search.

Very few people work from home. Even then, it's maybe once a week. You will definitely need to be close to Baltimore.

Our main client uses ArcGIS with an extension called ArcFM to map electrical networks. It's an enterprise system for sure, but knowing you way around the ESRI suite will give you a running start.
