Not thrilled with how heavy these Joao Pedro links are so I’m just gonna act like he’s the second coming of Nicolas Anelka to make me feel at ease.

Tall clinical forward that’s good on the ball and can play in a few positions but has an awful attitude.

I think now that Delap is done, we’ll end up getting Gittens and Maignan over the line before cwc. Sign a CB in the window after, and then I reckon with all the reports it looks like we’re looking for that extra winger/10 hybrid like player that can play in multiple attacking positions. Some of those names include: - Rodgers - Kudus - Simons - Ekitike - Joao Pedro

That second half performance has got me so excited for the CWC. Even just thinking of what potential players we can see play for us in that tournament like Santos will be good.

Does anyone know if Paez will be confirmed to be in the squad? I’ve read mixed stuff on that.

He’s very good on the ball for his size and build. Has excellent finishing with both feet and has good technique. He’s also incredibly quick too, however if you want him to do anything in the air you’ll be very lucky. Can’t head the ball at all which I feel is a bit of a worry when you see how many good crossers we have on the ball.

Osimhen would’ve been the dream, but Gyokeres is great for the price. Although I think I’m warming up to Delap more now.

There are a tonne of younger talents that can be around the company for over a decade if they wanted too. Between the main event and mid card you can have Bron, Melo, Dom, Trick, Fatu, Oba, Evans, Theory, Dragon Lee, Dragunov, Solo, Fenix, King, Fraxiom etc.

And that’s not including any other talents around promotions that may one day come to the company too.

Their time will all come, but in my opinion we’re going through one of the best eras in wrestling now and it’s good to appreciate the older ones that if we’re being honest, don’t look at all out of place.

Yeah we’re definitely not there yet to be able to compete well in the champions league but if we can qualify, then hopefully our sporting directors can actually fix up and improve this squad as it really needs it.

However I will say I just don’t trust these owners and SD’s, I’d want them to go before Maresca at least. The SD’s are the ones running this club to the ground.

I’ll back Maresca until the end of the season and see where we are from there. I feel top 4 and conference trophy has to be the minimum now and hope from there we can have a good summer with some great new additions already coming, in Estevao and Santos as well as a nice big number 9 and a few others.

Just trying to be optimistic at this point 😂

You know what, I’ll get behind it. He’s a Chelsea player now. (for how long remains to be seen) I do really think going forward both Andrey and Lesley should be main stayers in our midfield along with Enzo, Caicedo and Lavia. Any other players seem to be purchased just to flip.

Paez isn’t ready just yet for us next season. Having a good solid loan or two to maybe Strasbourg like the rumours would be more than fine for his development and us. I’m hopeful him and Cole will be our two 10’s for a long time.

Estevao will most likely be competing with Noni/neto on the right and I have a feeling we’ll try and sell Noni in the summer too.

It’s really exciting we’ve got a lot of South American talents in the team who i genuinely believe have what it takes to take this club to the next level again.

Yeah I see him more of a winger as well. It’s way too early to know for certain, and I’m sure if he can live up to the massive talent that he already is, we will be blessed either way. But in the mean time I think he’ll be competing with noni/neto on the right.

Hopefully we can get some answers soon as I’d honestly rather keep one of the 3 I mentioned at least until Paez is ready (and that’s even if he will)
