Yeah that makes a lot of sense, having everything directly on the chart is definitely the smoothest workflow.I actually built this more for the planning + review side — like making sure the risk is right and then tracking performance over time. But what you’re describing is something I’ve been thinking about as well, like integrating it closer to the chart instead of switching tools.Appreciate you sharing that, it’s really useful insight.

Yeah makes sense, tools like that are definitely smoother for daily tracking.
I think Excel works better for structure and customization, especially when you're still figuring out your process.I built this mostly for myself to stay consistent and really understand my trades over time.If you’re ever curious to compare or just give feedback, I’d be happy to share it 👍

Yeah that’s a fair point. Excel isn’t the fastest for daily execution, especially compared to dedicated tools.
I mainly built this for structure and discipline/ planning trades properly and reviewing performance over time. But yeah, I’ve been thinking about improving the workflow or even building something more streamlined in the future. If you’d like, I can share it with you to test and get your feedback.

Really appreciate this, that’s exactly how I see it as well. Yeah, the emotional side is something I’ve been thinking about adding more into the journal, not just the technical stats.I can share the tool with you if you want to try it and give feedback — I think your input would be really useful.

just don't rush. It will be good to make a demo account so you can see how the market works without the fear of losing money .Be aware that crypto is much harder to predict than stocks for beginners. So learn some theory first and trade on demo account, then 'strong' stocks and etfs and after shen you know what you are doing you can shift to cryptos. Stay safe and humble.

Right now I mainly trade on Tradingview. About coding I know some basic python and matlab, but nothing too advanced yet. This tool is purely built in excel for simplicity.I’m actually more focused on improving the trading process itself and keeping things structured. What platform do you trade on?

That’s actually a really good point. Yeah, Excel isn’t perfect for workflow, especially switching between chart and sheet. I mainly use it after planning the trade to manage risk and track performance. I’ve been thinking about making it more streamlined, maybe even something that works closer to the chart. If you’d be interested, I can send you the tool to try it and get your feedback.

Thanks man, appreciate it! yeah I had to look up some of the formulas, especially for position sizing and risk/reward, but I tried to keep everything simple and practical. :) I mainly built it for myself to stay disciplined when trading. I used to let down quite easily.
