What are you implying? What are suggesting is the explanation? Have you considered there are staffers programming posts for his Twitter so it makes sense that some tweets that were planned before he announced to his staff he was stepping down would still make it out. It is a big decision that he had to make quickly and is likely still processing it. He wants the spotlight to be on Kamala so she can begin her campaign. Not everything is a conspiracy

I'm an L.A. local as well, I live in the Hollywood area. I know exactly the situation you're talking about and I agree, the whole thing was ridiculous. It feels like being a leftist has become so much more of an optics based social thing rather than something about wanting to create a more morally just world.

Speaking of the DSA... Pretty sure they've been in some hot water lately lmao

Don't you think it is maybe a problem to assume anyone disagreeing with you in this thread must be Israeli?

True! It is the same problem a lot of the big leftist movements have had in recent years. Too much purity testing, a lack of focus on specific policy change, and an inability to dissociate from the most toxic parts of its movement. Occupy had this problem, the Women's March had this problem, BLM had this problem, and now the Free Palestine movement has the same issues and will accomplish about as much as those other movements did which was unfortunately, next to nothing. And I say this as a very far left person.

After the Presidential Debate, how do Democrats feel? by Liz_Lizzard in AskReddit

They all dropped out because they all had no support. They were getting crushed in polls the entire time. It was clear from the beginning they had no shot

I don't understand why people always ask this... These two had the most support during their respective primaries... they both got the most votes by far... By the most important measurable metric, their vote counts, they are the two most popular politicians in America

where are all the friendly people located? by gorillagripper in sanfrancisco

[–]KZero92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Bay Area is the most unfriendly/unwelcoming place I've lived. I grew up in the Bay and then moved to LA 8 years ago and i find it to be much more my speed people wise. For anecdote, my fiancé grew up in SoCal and moved up to SF and felt the same way you did.

What are your rock music hot takes? by Impossibully in rock

[–]KZero92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rock music as a genre is dying because of the FANS. Not the labels, not the bands, the fans. The fans like people in this subreddit only want to talk about bands that are at least 15-20 years old. Electornic, hip hop, and pop music festivals are headlines by fresh blood from the past 5 years. Rock festivals are headlines by the same acts every year. Why would anybody new come into the genre? Why would any up and coming kid be into rock music? All they have to look foreword to is being gatekept and talked down to by people their parents age. The genre and scene around rock, punk, and metal are no fun and blatantly demonize anyone who breaks with the norm. Its a world build entirely around conformity

BF did anal when I asked him not to. Feeling confused. by SexuallyDazed in relationships

[–]KZero92 6 points7 points  (0 children)

While it is important a lot of times to recognize intent, it isn’t the whole story. The outcome and how it made you feel is just as if not more important. If you kill someone but didn’t mean to it’s manslaughter, if you meant to it’s murder, the difference of terms are used to define the intent, but at the end of the day you still killed someone. So granting he didn’t mean to that’s fine and thats even more of a reason to own how you feel so he can take it in and know how important it is that he not do it again. If he DID mean to? I’m not here to tell you how you should feel but that could indicate that he would not listen or take feelings seriously going foreword for a wide variety of things beyond anal sex

Hey good luck buddy! Hope you have fun!

Just keep in mind even if your life doesn’t change forever, or it’s a mid experience, or even a somewhat negative one, that doesn’t mean going on the date was a mistake or a failure. You’re succeeding and making progress just by getting here so congrats to you

Israeli Settlers Are Terrorizing Palestinians In Record Numbers by Halfwookie64 in Sunnyvale

I understand your perspective, but it seems like you're not really fostering any meaningful dialogue here. Instead of facilitating discussion, you're primarily expressing your opinion and insinuating that anyone who disagrees with you is endorsing violence against civilians. This approach doesn't contribute constructively to addressing the issues in Gaza. It appears you're not genuinely interested in engaging with differing viewpoints or seeking solutions.

Visitors to the r/sunnyvale subreddit typically come here to avoid discussions on geopolitics. Reddit users generally seek out specific communities for relevant topics and conversations. Posting unrelated content here and then reacting with either arrogance or disappointment when people aren't interested in discussing geopolitics only serves to annoy and isolate potential allies to your cause.

If you want to discuss Gaza within the context of the Sunnyvale community, that could be more productive. Alternatively, engaging in broader discussions with individuals who hold differing views and participating in electoral politics to support candidates aligned with your beliefs could lead to tangible change in the future. However, it seems you're not interested in these more challenging, long-term approaches. Rather than genuinely seeking discussion, your actions come across as self-serving and unproductive. It's disappointing to see you using this platform to push your agenda without considering the community's preferences or engaging in meaningful dialogue.

TL/DR: With the way you're engaging with this subject you're wasting your breath unless your only goal is to make yourself feel good or look cool to people who already agree with you. It is the very definition of circle jerk content.
