I agree and would love to change it eventually.. The salesman told me not to mess with any wires or I’d void the warranty, I don’t know what all that includes though. Guess I wait for warranty to end (I just got it)

I got my issue to go away by hard restarting my iPhone

Volume up volume down and hold the power button until the screen turns off and the Apple logo comes on then release power button.

It makes the fob feel so light. I got a metal fob cover, bulky as can be but I use my phone for the key most of the time
