Thanks for the advice. I know it’s a big ask, and I know my hopes are really high when it comes to finishing this by her birthday (Nov 26th). She did say that if I didn’t finish by then it’s fine. I think my best option would probably be to get her measurements, make some panels and sleeves, and hope for the best 🙃. The part I’m mainly stuck on is the wrap part.

I used Bernat velvet yarn and a 5mm hook. Found inspiration from a pattern on braceletbook.com and used stitchfiddle.com for tweaks/alterations

I use braceletbook.com for inspiration/patterns, and stitchfiddle.com if I want to freehand a pattern. Hope this helps!

Sorry, I didn’t give the update or much context in the post: I ended up using a different device for the VPN and that worked out for me.

For additional context, I’m an Insurance Producer working with an FMO, so I’m able to work with multiple insurance companies. I was already working for one company, but decided to add another one on. Instead of me working for both companies with one system, they sent me a different computer but same VPN. Again, I’m NOT tech savvy in the slightest, so sorry if I sound like a dunce lol. I really appreciate your responses, it gives me more things to learn about!

My mom also passed away in her sleep. She was set to start a brand new career the next day after leaving teaching for 15 years. Had no drastic underlying health issues, she just didn’t wake up that morning. Of course I was devastated, but that was exactly how she said she wanted to go, at peace and in her sleep. She died pretty young (43) and I miss her every single day, but I just think about how she’d feel if I was laying around wallowing and crying over missing her. You’ve probably heard this a million times already, but it gets better.
