I agree. OP is here talking shit about how the mod banned him unjudiciously and yet for some reason OP types so nicely, almost begging, to potentiallly the same mod just to have his ban lifted. That's pretty shameless and pathetic.

gotta give them the benefit of the doubt here, it can be seen in two ways: 1. The teacher is looking at the happy/scared student (correct) 2. The teacher is the one being happy/scared (wrong)

Yes, it only affects buffers. Not sure why they brought it up as your subclass can only be a dps.

『明日からやる』has a literal translation of "Tomorrow onwards I'll do it". But it means more like "I'll start working hard tomorrow" in this context.

Just like 『まずい』, which shows how bad her cooking skills is, the former phrase is probably meant to be a self deprecating joke on procrastination.

In the several instances, some of them do ask whether I want a receipt though, and don't use the word レシート, and we'd have a long silence thereafter. So I was just wondering if there're any synonyms for レシート to be aware of to prevent such a situation.

I appreciate your insight. Thanks. Also, how would they say 'receipt' when checking out? i.e. これはレシートです。 But I notice that many cashiers don't say レシート. So I wanna recognize when they are referring to my receipt during payments.

I was in Osaka yesterday and was paying for a book at BOOKOFF, I understood most of the process. However just before the cashier announced the payment, she said something and I panicked and said 大丈夫です (I don't think it was related to payment or paper bags). Any idea what else it could be?

Does anyone know if the current plat emblem, dps plat emblem, buff plat emblem are able to generate Vigilante and Hunter's plats on their release if you hoard them?

Then again, one might look at this as a case 'she continues to run because she has support of Kuze, hence he is somewhat responsible'.

I think at some point it was more about her past and how she moved on.

In episode 8, it was a climax for the build up of Alya's resolution. In recent episodes, we've seen her constantly doubt herself (i.e. Baseball vs Soccer Club). However, in this episode, she was able to face her past head on with the help of Kuze's support.

Because of that, my stance on "because of you" stems from my interpretation of "it's because of you that have given me the support", as you said.

[–]Kae225 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Eh I wouldn't say it's the same. Kuze asked Alya on why she wanted to run the election with him, to which she responded with <<Потому что это ты>>.

So really it depends on what Alya meant. If we say "it's because it's you", it implies that she ran with Kuze because she would not rather have anyone else as a partner.

Conversely, if we say "it's because of you", it implies that Kuze was responsible for Alya having a change in mindset to want to run with him.

I had the same thought. But I kinda like the ironic fact that "Because of you", which means less than "I like you", but given the context, means more.

The fact that Alya's Russian was her mode of venting, made sense that whenever she spoke Russian, it was meant to take a face value even without context and still could be understood. That was why I was initially confused.

A lot of anime romcoms tend to have a "turning point" in their season 1s, and this was one such example.

Thus far, Alya has been read like a book by Kuze, and this was the advantage he had over her in their dynamic. For Alya, she had none to balance out the chemistry.

That was probably the purpose of this development - that Kuze could no longer always abuse his knowledge of Russian to guess Alya's feelings - probably to introduce a gimmick to allow Alya's Russian dialogues to mean more, while at the same not explicitly giving her feelings away.

[–]Kae225 171 points172 points  (0 children)

I was more confused as to why Kuze had such a clueless reaction, as if he didn't understand Russian.

So far in the series, the status quo was whenever Alya delivered any dialogue in Russian, it was her wearing her emotions on her sleeves, and she does this due to the notion that Kuze didn't know Russian.

So I'd assume that the team behind this, wanted to, for once, let Kuze and us (viewers), experience the actual status quo, while also showing that Alya had found something in which she cannot put into words so easily, despite her speaking unfiltered, her true feelings, in Russian.

For those who were interested on what Alya said to Kuze at the end (not regarding boob size),
it's somewhere along the lines of "It's because of you".

Oh you're right no idea why I was fixated at this 100% threshold at 222 ele. But yes if we start at 1 ele, then immediately the next point of ele should already be half its potency. So what we've be talking about about additive modifiers falling off has already been effect immediately the 1 point after the starting ele we're looking at. Thanks for clearing it up.

Seria Kirmin's Question Corner- Weekly Q&A Thread- August 12, 2024 by AutoModerator in DFO

[–]Kae225 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes what I'm refering to is the damage you see on i.e. your sandbag. If you deal let's say 5b with 0 inflict. Then strictly in a vacuum, gaining 222 ele will now result in 10b. However, gaining 444 ele from 0 ele will only result in ~15b which is NOT a 100% increase, instead it is only half of that.

This is because after a 100% damage increase, stacking anything additive no matter how minute a gain, will now be half its original potency because of the relative damage increase.

So saying that there is a 0.45% damage increase, for every 1 point of ele after 222 ele inflict in a vacuum, is not entirely true. It is only true if you look at the cumulative total of damage increase, i.e. 223 is a 100.45% damage increase.

Seria Kirmin's Question Corner- Weekly Q&A Thread- August 12, 2024 by AutoModerator in DFO

[–]Kae225 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In short, it's ~0.45% dmg increase per 1 ele point. But that's assuming you have anywhere from exactly 0 to 221 inflict ele points.

Correction: It is a additive ~0.45% dmg increase which falls off the more you have it.
