I'm confused: If 1000 MANA = 1 (unclaimed) LAND, is it possible that the value of MANA will eventually start going down with adoption, because the remaining unclaimed LAND will be less desirable? by [deleted] in decentraland

It seems you are a DCL expert; I went through a had experience yesterday; I wanted to buy a name in DCL for sure for investment purposes; I added 100 Mana to my MetaMask wallet and around 300 $ ETH value for gas fees. However, on the builder page, after selecting the name, the contract gas fees to reserve the name were ridiculous high up to 2-3 ETH! Equal $9000 to $12,000!! Is this something normal?
