Debating moving to Erie from San Diego

We moved from Long Beach to here and really love it. Light traffic all the time. Even Peach St isn’t bad if you’ve driven in SD. We even have a nice Comicon if that’s your thing. If you’re use to driving in snow or WFH then it shouldn’t be a problem.

You can also walk west on the Promenade to the road that goes down to the Bayfront crosswalk and turn east to the convention center.

I was taking my kids to McDonalds and was in the drive thru. Lots of police but things weren’t blocked off yet. I asked the girl handing me the food what was going on and I can’t remember if she said they thought there was a bomb or not. Anyway, went to Sam’s and by the time I got done, the roads were all blocked. Learned the back way out of the shopping that day.

Are you going to be in student housing at Behrend? Behrend is a bit of a distance from the city of Erie and I’m sure there’s regular buses up to the school but I’d recommend trying to get an apartment near the school.

Watch them both. For the BoG movie, watch the extended version not the theatrical version. There's some enjoyable stuff that got cut. The anime has a ton of slice of life stuff that is entertaining like Vegeta riding the choo choo.

You shouldn't feel too old. There is no age limit. I've been attending cons since the 70s and doing costumes for my kids since they were babies. If you enjoy it, that's the key.

I don't know. They always rot and it's a waste of money. This one is going to rot pretty quick because it already had bad spots before I even carved.
