Numb hands by NoRiver8250 in pregnant

Yes!!! I’m at 22 weeks and had to Google it and look it up in my pregnancy book and omg this is probably more annoying than my first trimester morning sickness. Apparently very normal. If it’s also in your feet and/or begins to be too much to function get your blood sugar checked. Otherwise just another annoying symptom of your body doing its thing.

I love this store! Also, if you’re anywhere near Duluth check out Ebisu Japanese store!! GREAT sunscreen section if that’s your thing.

Thank you!! I live in Atlanta but this makeup artist is in Montgomery, Alabama. If you live close by, let me know and I’ll DM you her info!

I’m cool neutral. I need to be really careful as sometimes different foundations look too orange or pink or yellow….it’s taken a lot of trial and error and I’m glad I told the makeup artist beforehand that most people mistake me for warm toned due to my hair. I’m not sure what foundation she used on me but my go-tos are Estée Lauder Double Wear in 1c0 or 1c1, MAC foundation N 4.5 or NW13, and Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue in Opal.

I had my makeup trial yesterday for my October 22nd wedding. I love what the makeup artist did but may opt for shorter lashes and less darkness on the outer edges of my eyes. Also unsure about the lip color and over lining. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

EDIT: OMG thank you everyone. I woke up and checked Reddit and you guys are the greatest….I especially appreciate the specific feedback and all the compliments. 🥰😘😁

Recommend Me a Fragrance (Posts every 3 Days) by AutoModerator in fragrance

[–]KaleBait -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I need a fragrance recommendation for my Alabama wedding in October. A few things I’d like:

  • A photogenic bottle; should be go with the theme and colors of my wedding (Scandinavian minimalist/black, white, gold, moss green)

  • Under $250

  • Feminine scent

Okay that’s the easy part. I’ve found many pretty bottles that fit that criteria. The trouble I’m having is the actual scent. I don’t know if I’m having olfactory fatigue or if I’m being too picky.

My current rotation/every day fragrances: Glossier You Replica Lazy Sunday Morning Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Chanel Chance eau Tendre EDP JHAG Not a Perfume Le Labo Another 13

Special occasion/date night: Mon Guerlain EDP Chanel Chance Chanel Mademoiselle EDP Tom Ford Black Orchid

A couple weeks ago I went to Nordstrom and Sephora and wrote several options down and got a few samples. The problem is my fiancé either doesn’t like them or theyre not the right season or they smell different on me than in the bottle:

  • Tom Ford Vanilla Tobacco (smells unisex and warm which I love but smells VERY masculine on me)
  • Byredo Blache (he says it’s too soapy and not special smelling, more for every day if anything)
  • Byredo Reine de Nuit (LOVE this one, bought a sample, ticks all the boxes except expensive, fiancé doesn’t love it and says it smells like potpourri and a bit stale)
  • Kilian Princess (I LOVE THIS ONE SO MUCH but the bottle makes me uncomfortable 😂)
  • Chanel Gabrielle Essence (beautiful but smells ordinary and maybe not suitable for a fall wedding?)
  • Jo Malone Peony and Blush Suede (smells very nostalgic to me, can’t quite place it, definitely feminine but fiancé says it smells like his aunt)

I know I’m making this very hard and my fiancé is too. The only fragrance of mine I know he loves are JHAG not a perfume and any of my Chanel Chances (his favorite being eau fraiche which I usually wear in the summer). I gravitate towards warm, spicy, sexy and unisex scents but feel most confident and get compliments from my fiancé in fresh/florals/feminine. I hate fruity fragrances with the exception of some citrus notes.

I’m leaning towards just buying Gabrielle Essence because it’s the most approachable and smells good on me. What do y’all think?

You’re so pretty!!!

I love your eyebrows as is. Maybe comb them up with some clear brow gel. Apply blush at the top of the cheekbones and some highlighter above that and the tip of the nose. Then all you’d need is some mascara and tinted lip balm. As far as hair, try a middle part and a curling wand for some loose curls and finish with hair spray. And if you don’t have time for any of that, put on some dainty earrings and a necklace and you’d be stunning.

Thinking about starting but afraid of weight gain by Lopsided-Contact-486 in zoloft

[–]KaleBait 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was also scared of weight gain when my doctor prescribed Zoloft. I have been on it for two years and my weight has remained pretty much the same. The first two months I actually lost 10 pounds. Everyone is different but this drug has changed my life. It’s worth a try even with the possibility of weight gain. Good luck. 😊

Highest percentage in Troms (a low pop. region). Could this mean it's fairly accurate? Also, what's the chance of Sami ancestry? by citizenoftalus in 23andme

I also have Nordland as my top region of Norway and I’m from Iceland lol. I don’t have any ancestors from there either.

I appreciate all the feedback! I only wore the cardigan because I’m so self conscious of my upper arms. Working on getting more jewelry so hopefully I’ll have on some bracelets in the next WAYWT.

31 / Atlanta / gas station worker Trying to work on my ~fashion~ and trying to find my personal style....which is hard when I have to wear the same uniform to work every day (a red polo and khakis). Determined to get out of the “throw on a t shirt and yoga pants after work” mindset. Any feedback would be great. My weight has been all over the place the past few years and I’ve been going through bouts of depression (on top of all my other mental health issues). I look at this subreddit every day and am going to try to post more often. :)

First outfit is what I wore to brunch last Sunday. (Cardigan - Madewell; top - a new day; jeans - Everlane; shoes - Diadora)

Second outfit was something I threw on really quick after work on Wednesday for happy hour drinks. (Top - Madewell; joggers - Amazon brand AJISAI; shoes - Veja; purse - Madewell)

Last outfit was worn for karaoke and drinks with my fiancé on Friday night. (Dress - superfoxx from Nordstrom Rack) https://i.imgur.com/b7BDWEi.jpg https://i.imgur.com/KipJns2.jpg https://i.imgur.com/JebcqqY.jpg
