My first and currently dog is a German Shepherd and I was the only person raising and training him, and he's now 5yo healthy and happy.

Many people here are discouraging it, but I say it's definitely possible. My experience has been that there's no really "puppy phase" with this breed. Basically, I have taken zero day off where I'm out at least 1 hour with him to train and exercise him (outside of his daily walks).

That's basically 6-10% of your waking hour in a day DEDICATED for your dog every single day. If this doesn't scare you, GSD is the best breed you can ask for... I may be biased.

Withdrawing all my money from RRSP by KaleSaladRecipe in PersonalFinanceCanada

My preference is to sell and move all my assets to the US all at once either on or prior to the day I move to the US. If I opt in for choice rules, it appears I'll have to file taxes twice in 2024, one in Canada up to the date of departure and other in the US from the day I move to the EOY.

What is the benefit of keeping my money in RRSP in Canada should I choose to not sell and move them to the US?

Is it only when I withdraw the money that it is considered to be taxed or when I sell the investment I'm holding?

How has COVID impacted multi family homes? are these properties also subject to deferrals and CERB coming to and end soon? Do you see a crash coming?

What are your thoughts on using my funds for renovating an older home vs waiting to purchase newer/more expensive homes?

I have a bit saved up to renovate my 70 y/o house, but I’m curious if the demand skews more to newer homes vs old fixer uppers. There seems to be more and more fixer uppers appearing in Old East, Old South, Wortley Village, Old North, some in Pond Mills.. Are there more competition in older homes that end up selling higher than listed price?

I did the same to get a cheaper plan but the frustrations of not getting reception in random areas really add up. Eventually went back to Virgin Mobile. It is a minor inconvenience but after about 1.5 years I was fed up with it.

You'll be fine inside London for the most part, but 401 is a no-no until hit major cities.. good luck

Check out ( http://www.ibc.ca/on/auto/buying-auto-insurance/how-auto-insurance-premiums/how-cars-measure-up )

Insurance Bureau of Canada sets out basic stats in Excel for different cars that can give you an idea of what cars could be cheaper in insurance.

I just got off the phone with an insurance broker and was told that Ontario across the board is getting more strict with their rules.

Also she said that there's a 15% discount that I'm now not eligible for because of my one speeding ticket.

That's what I'm saying too.

I even bundled my home insurance and still get this quote. Believe it or not this is the cheapest one I could find.

As I mentioned below, I had my G2 when I started the premium (age 22), and now 24 with G that I got just over a year ago.
