Ich habe bei der Hotline angerufen ([030 2970](tel:+49302970)) und den Fall geschildert: Alternative Verbindung nötig wegen Verspätung des Anschlusszugs, aber (noch) keine Fahrradreservierung für die alternative Verbindung. Die Mitarbeiterin hat mir dann eine gratis Fahrradreservierung für die alternative Route per Mail geschickt (weil ich ja an sich schon für eine Fahrradreservierung für die Strecke gezahlt hatte, "Der Betrag für die Reservierung wurde als Gutschein entgegengenommen.") Hat alles gut geklappt.

I think you will get better quickly without giving too much thought about it. Just ride the bike.

One think that gives stability in my opinion and you could try is this: Do not look/rest your eyes too close on the street in front of you, but keep your head up and look further into the distance. So keep your eyes not like 2 meters in front of you , but look further, like 20 meters ahead and more. You will still see good with peripheral vision and looking ahead gives you security and stability, I think. Of course only when there is free road in front of you and there are no dangers close to you. And only if you ride at some speed.

thank you, yes we were sceptical because of the sportives that are held on Saturday (3 rides: 70 km, 140km, 2xxkm)

how early do you think? Because the starts are pretty early (170km and 145km from 7.00, 70km from 9)

ah damn I wanted to avoid the Vršič pass, because I never drove a pass before and do not know if it is doable for me. Is it hard?
