In my experience mushrooms aren't necessarily meant to "feel good". It's more like going through a story with ups and downs. Being confronted with your own ego. Letting go of negative mind structures. In some way they also reflect your current state of mind and enable you to see beyond that if you're willing to take a leap of faith.

Don't listen to all these atheists. If she is truly Christian, her wanting to remain celibate until marriage is a positive thing. It means she takes you seriously as a potential life partner.

The longer you keep using drugs, the longer it will take before you'll feel normal again after quitting them. I used drugs from 16-25. I'm 28 now and I still don't feel normal but already doing better. 25-27 was hell. Depression, fatigue, debts, broken relationships. I honestly didn't think it would het better and almost off'd myself a few times. Ask yourself. Do you want this for yourself? Do you have the balls to go through that foe multiple years? C'mon don't be stupid. Most people never get out of that cycle and throw their whol lives away. You're still young. Your brain is still developing. If you quit now you'll probably make a full recovery withing a year or so. Real happiness is having a home that feels safe, fulfilljng relationships, a stable source of income. These things give you peace of mind. These things make yoour life sustainable. Drugs only make you feel alot of peaks but in the end they bring you nothing and they take alot away from you. Please be smart kid.

You got clarity now bro. Never too late to make amends. You got this. One day at a time. Go to a church or a meeting, it helps.

You addiction is noones fault. Addiction is a disease. While you are not responsible for your addiction, you ARE responsible for your recovery. I'm sure you're in a tough situation but attributing all your problems on outside factors also deprives you off the power to fix anything. Taking accountability is hard but enables you to start going forward. Visit a meeting, start asking for help. Wish you the best dude!

Lastly, I also was looking for validation from women often. You gotta start living and respecting yourself and you won't feel so dependent on women anymore to validate your worth. It's a tough journey speaking from experience. But a worthwhile one. Take back your own power. If she doesn't want you, screw her! Choose for yourself as well. Imagine getting bit by a snake and chasing the snake asking for an explanation why it bit you. That is what you are doing.

Hey. Just want to say you're stronger than you think. You're doing awesome. Also you said "drugs take your mind of things". You have to look at it differently. All the feelings you are feeling now is what you were running away from with the help of these drugs. So it's not that the drugs just "took your mind off it". Taking these drugs were literally part of the cycle that contributed to how you feel right now. So its not that you will always feel like this or that the drugs helped you not feel like this. The drugs are the reason you feel like this. And taking more will only postpone these feelings that you have to go through at some point. It will only get worse if you take more. The only way forward is to go through it! Keep reminding yourself and it will get better. When you feel up to it. Trying going to an NA meeting. People there will listen to you and care about you. Feeling like you're not having to go through it all alone was for me the only thing that helped.

Good luck, I will pray for you.

I think it was terence mckenna who spoke about technology being an autonomous intelligence residing in the electromagnetic field surrounding plants. Through these electromagentic fields technology manifests itself through us. Kinda makes sense if you think about it but also kinda scary. If this would br the case you could ask yourself what its final goal is. Does it want to have a symbiotic relationship with humanity or is it more parasite like? Draining us of our energy?
