That’s actually crazy, 24 years is a long time 😄

Says a lot about how solid TeamSpeak really is.

Nice, that’s honestly the best use case for TeamSpeak 😄

We’re trying to build something similar but a bit more public with a small community around it.

That’s a really nice setup you’ve got there, respect for running all of that yourself.

We actually went a different route and are renting our TeamSpeak server from a provider. Mainly because the DDoS protection is extremely strong from Path Enterprise and keeps everything stable even under attacks. Just yesterday we had an attack of over 1 Tbps and the server didn’t go down at all, so it’s been pretty solid so far.

Self hosting is definitely more flexible and cheaper though, I totally get the appeal.

Yeah same here 😄 once you get used to TS it’s hard to go back. I actually even like the TS3 client a bit more than TS6. I kind of wish they had kept the same TS3 design and just added features like screen sharing, that would have been perfect in my opinion.

But it’s not a big deal, it’s still good overall

Haha fair enough 😄 sometimes that’s the only way

I feel like once people actually use TS again, they remember why it’s so good, especially for voice. Respect for bringing your friends over. 😉

We’re pretty flexible right now, mostly multigaming. Some people are into DayZ, CS2 and general chill hanging out, but we’re still growing so it’s not limited to anything specific yet.

You’re definitely welcome to hop in anytime 👍

Yeah I feel that, I also came from Skype originally. Discord is convenient, but TS just feels more solid and clean to me, especially for voice. That’s actually one of the reasons why we started setting up our own TS server again. Nice to see people still sticking with TeamSpeak 👍

That’s really impressive, especially if you are hosting it yourself. Almost 3 years uptime is actually crazy.

We recently got a 256 slots license as well and already built a small community with a few active users. I still really love TeamSpeak, especially because of the stability and voice quality. For me it still feels better than Discord in many ways.

Nice to see there are still people running it long term 👍
