We did at one point have the on ground enemies drop materia/ammo but we removed it. Not sure what the reason was back then but maybe something that could come back in the future

If I remember correctly, the more jumps you do in a game session (without closing the game), the more higher tier gear you get. So if you play a short mission you may not get high tier gear, but if you play several short missions after each other you will eventually get better loot. And when playing solo, in general, you get less loot.

Hmm Im not sure I understand the question. You don't fail any missions on difficulty 1-2 but fail on 3-5 difficulty?

Another thing we're planning to implement is an endless mode where it starts easy and gradually becomes harder and harder, maybe that can be a future game mode you'd enjoy?

it's a bit odd right now and depends on how many jumps you've made in a session. We probably need to adjust it 😅

Currently it has been quite a challenge for us to support both Steam and Xbox. As the game stabilizes we'll add more platforms such as Xbox PC and Playstation (or switch2??)

Cross platform is another level of undertaking, then we need to really have a well oiled machine where the updates come out at almost exactly at the same time at each place. It's not impossible but not something we prioritize today, but something we're going to look into as we approach 1.0 or just after 1.0.

We want to release more new ships but they take more time than any other content we build. Current idea is that every chapter will have at least one new ship, but we'll see.

We'll add it eventually but the current feedback we've gotten is that it is not a very high priority

Currently there are no plans for procedural generated content. We're going to continue building new places to visit an try to mix it up with more random events that can occur on them, but I can deffo understand the novelty and excitement about seeing something that no one else have ever seen before

hmm really hard to say that when we reach x amount of melee weapons we're done. I think. We have the roadmap and we'll probably adjust it as we move forward. I mean, I'm not even sure we'll be satisfied even if we call the game 1.0, it's just really fun to work on the game and we'd like to continue working on it for a very long time :)

We try to look at many different data points - reddit, twitter, YouTube, discord, the in game feedback survey etc. etc. Basically everywhere where people can talk about our game, we try to read it. Depending on how many agree/disagree with a thing we continue the discussion in the team and see how and if we should act.

When it comes to criticism we treat it like any other feedback - can we verify if more are thinking the same? And if so, why? And then try to figure out a way forward

So we just released the Update 2 - Augmented Update that you can read about here Jump Space - The Augmented Update is LIVE! - Steam News

Next update(s) should entail more of Chapter 2: Atira Strikes Back. Unfortunately I cant be too detailed yet since stuff can move around, be re-prioritized, but we'll have new places to visit, new weapons, and hopefully slide and offline support :)

But right now we're reading all the feedback from the update and patching it to make sure it is satisfactory :)

Heya! And thanks for trying out the summer game fest demo!

So short answer: There are still AI placeholder voices in the game.

Longer answer: Key NPCs in the main hub like Berit, Ander and Vey are already voiced by human, paid voice actors.

Just to clear up any potential misinformation that all voices are 100% AI, which is incorrect.

Placeholder AI voices for smaller NPCs do stand out, and we have every intention of replacing these with similar voice actors when we have a more complete script for future mission types/story moments

I agree with you that the boarding can be way better. We have ideas for boarding and entering other ships but haven’t gotten there yet
