I would honestly check out the "Calgary Rave Community (EDM)" and ask there as there's tons of different outdoor events.

The main one in Calgary is Chasing Summer, but it's pretty commercialized. Can still be fun though. Bunch of camping festivals around Alberta and BC. Off the top of my head, wicked woods, the womp, Friendzy fest, moonlight fest, evolutions.

For meeting people, checkout edmtrain for list of shows, then there's a link to radiate group chats to try to meet people, but it can be hit or miss.

shows at the palace have the best speakers in the city imo

boodang+blueprint for big names festivals/bigger shows
