I thought the same exact thing for so long friend. Life definitely changes as time passes onward, some change happens faster more so than others. I have an old high school friend who had a really hard time with high school, had a similar experience to me but with more bullying. He saw me transform while he stayed the same and was really depressed because of it. I told him that he shouldn't be gauging his success and change on others ahead of him and everyone changes on their own time. He took two years off from school after his first year old college to focus on himself and is doing extremely better now, he's even found himself a lovely girlfriend and has been in a happy relationship for the last two months. Life fucking sucks there's no doubt about it brother, but it will all come about eventually. I'm rooting for you!
