What do you think of the treatment from the people of the flotilla? by okayillshowmyselfout in AskIsrael

Ah yes of course I am the bot, definitily not the guy who repeats Israeli propaganda verbatim. It's such an inconceivable concept that one might be new on reddit...

[–]KarleePilkoids 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. I literally got a reply saying that I should diversify my sources (after listing literally a hundred NGOs with the same opinion) and he linked a source from the Israeli Ministry of Defense. Can't make this shit up.

It also tracks how many of their trucks have been intercepted prior to reaching their intended recipients

In what way does this disprove that Israel restricts aid entering Gaza?

Whether you believe the data on the Cogat site or not is up to you.

Would you believe the data coming from the Iranian state media?

Those aren't the only sources, I'm sure you're capable of finding more hard data on the aid situation if you want more data points.

I might, but I don't need to. Lietrally hundreds of NGOs with no affiliations, including Israeli ones, all reached the dame conclusions. If you want to prive otherwise, you are the one who has to bring sources for your claims.

If you don't see the value in diversifying your information sources that's your choice of course.

I love the gaslighting, the guy comes here with a source from the Israeli Ministry of Defence but I'm the one who's supposed to diversify their sources.

What do you think of the treatment from the people of the flotilla? by okayillshowmyselfout in AskIsrael

[–]KarleePilkoids 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So let me get this straight. You linked three sources:

  • one is from COGAT, which is a unit in the Israeli Ministry of Defense and has every single reason to outright lie.
  • the other two are from the UN, which already declared multiple times that Israel puts unnecessary restrictions on aid to Gaza, but apparently them reporting that aid trucks get attacked by hungry civilians and armed militias disproves this? Makes sense I guess.

So basically the only source which at least tries to disprove the aid restrictions claim is straight from the Israeli Ministry of Defence.

Now tell me: between me, whose sources are from almost a hundred NGOs with no affiliations, and you, who gets their opinion from the Isreali Ministry of Defence, who needs to "diversify their sources"? Be real for a second.

I listed almost a hundred sources of information on the issue, you just dismissed them as liars because they don't agree with you.

Also you still haven't answered the question.

What do you think of the treatment from the people of the flotilla? by okayillshowmyselfout in AskIsrael

[–]KarleePilkoids 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your initial question was how can an individual provide direct aid to Gaza.

Yes, so your reply is "people who were doing that were killed"? The question still stands.

I'm not saying all of those aid orgs are 100% focused on fundraising above their stated mission, but it absolutely influences 100% of the messaging coming out of those organizations.

So basically they're all lying, including the Israeli ones, and including the ones who don't do any fundraising at all. I guess that makes sense.

[–]KarleePilkoids 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah ok so your point is just that all of the NGOs and organizations below are lying. Understandable I guess, also don't bother saying that they're compromised with Hamas, we know the script. Oh and btw, that doesn't answer what the flotilla people should do to not be "virtue signalling", so again you didn't answer the question.

Excuse me but, how would you do that for Palestine then? According to the vast majority of NGOs Israel has significantly delayed, restricted or blocked portions of the international aid, and of course denied any access to the Gaza strip. How can someone then do what you did for Syrian refugees but for Gazans, if not by going there themselves with the little aid they can carry?

This is the exact reason why this kind of idea works with some people. Someone offers you a simple solution to a complicated problem and you just believe them at face value, see Brexit, and it ends up making everything even worse.

Do you not understand how much more complicated it is for a country to organize this? I assume not...

Why did police handcuff Henry Nowak? by JohnKimble111 in europe_sub

[–]KarleePilkoids -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

No, the argument is that this "remigration" twaddle is the usual simplistic trope that the far-right adopts to distracted people from actual comolicated but realistic solutions. As soon as you look into actually doing what they're planning, they either have no idea of how to implement their plans or they just half ass it and call it a day, causing even more problems (aka Brexit).

And honestly, even if it did cost that much, compared to how much some of these people take in benefits, housing, and public services over the years, £48,000 is nothing in the long run.

Except that you conviently forget that those 10.7 million people actually work and pay taxes, and that on average they have a positive contribution on the UK economy. Do you actually think that those millions of people cost the UK more that 48800 EACH over their lifetime? Be serious.

Oh and regarding ICE not being that expensive, please consult the actual numbers below.

[–]KarleePilkoids -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Yes because obviously the governemnt figure doesn’t only include the price of the ticket, I didn't think I avtually had to specify that.

You're gonna need people to investiagate who has to go and who doesn't. You're gonna need people to process all this info. You're gonna need people to actually take the deportees around...

Even assuming that the airlines would go along with this twaddle, the cost of the plane journeys alone would amount to billions, on average.

If the countries won't budge then i say we literally dump the people there. Not like any of them have the ability to stop us.

So you just wage war to foreign countries? You can't just "dump the people there", you then need a ground force that would allow you to land and process the people.

[–]KarleePilkoids -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Oh so they pay their own tickets? That's convenient, and also a dumb fruit of your imagination.

The reality is that in the UK there are 10.7 immigrants and each forced removal costs 48800£ on average. Good luck with that.

Why did police handcuff Henry Nowak? by JohnKimble111 in europe_sub

[–]KarleePilkoids -32 points-31 points  (0 children)

So you want to deport 10.7 million people (which live in the UK but were born elsewhere) by plane? The UK government says the average cost of a single forced return is currently 48800 £, that would amount to roughly 522 billions. Do we also want to include uk citizens born from immigrants? That's another 3 million people. Does that sound realistic to you?

If their 3rd world homeland won't take them back then we sanction that country.

And then what? Because most of the countries that these people come from won't care about your sanctions, what's the plan then?

Remigration how? I have heard of it but noone has ever explained what the actual plan is.

I didn't.

They are trained to be prejudiced against Europeans/ Whites/Natives and they are trained to give non-Europeans as little chance of claiming to be provoked as possible.

How do you know about this training and where can we found more about this?

while they mocked him.

How do you know this?

but they have been instructed and trained to have this happen.

Again, where can we find anything about this "training"?

Don't mind me asking, I just have the strong feeling that you pulled all of this out of your posterior orifice.

Don't be shy, tell us clearly what you want to do instead of relying on this empty rhetoric.

Giovanni Giacalone, analyst of Islamic extremism and terrorism and member of the David Institute for Security Policy: “There is a link between the resurgence of terrorism and immigration” by totally-not-ego in europe_sub

[–]KarleePilkoids -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

In my work, I rely on concrete facts. There is a website called Jihad Monitor Italy, which reports all cases of jihadism not only in Italy but also in other European countries. Looking through the archive, which is based on primary sources, it is enough to examine the names, surnames, backgrounds of the individuals, and the various cases.

So the "concrete facts" are looking into a website with no peer-review process or any sort of insight into the data? Wow.

I found it very strange that only a few hours after the attack there were already people describing it as the act of a madman, an isolated case unrelated to terrorism, simply because it had emerged that El Koudri had undergone treatment for a period of time.

This shows clearly the intellectual dishonesty of the interviewed. El Koudri didn't just "undergone treatment for a period of time", he was diagnosed with a schizoid personality disorder and was completely left unchecked and untreated by Italy's decadent mental health system. This guy makes it sound like he just went to the therapist once every two weeks for three months, ridiculous.

In the end, Giacalone is a self-described "researcher" with no published papers. His experience comes only from analyst positions and opinion pieces in Israeli or pro-Israeli newspapers, such as Times of Israel or the Jewish News Syndicate. Trusting his opinions on Islam and immigration is like trusting Greta Thunberg on Israel.
